Trump knows Republicans are on track to lose in 2026 and in 2028 so he's doing everything he can to steal the elections.
He knows he's deeply unpopular, his actions are hurting millions of Americans (including those who voted for him), and that he can't win without suppressing the vote.

I'm a mother and a teacher and I'm so sick to my stomach. Our kids are being shot in church pews. This is not normal. But we've let it become the norm.
America, when will we admit we have a deep sickness when it comes to gun violence.
Don’t forget: we are the change makers. And no President can take that away. Keep showing up. It matters.
Companies are using algorithms to jack up your rent. We have to end this practice and make housing affordable for working people. This is good news. Let’s keep it up.
See you today, New York! Unlike Rep. Stefanik, we believe your voice matters.
Biden issued an executive order in 2021 to enforce antitrust laws and crack down on companies abusing their market power.
Trump just revoked it. He is pro-billionaire. Anti-small business. Anti-competition.
But don't take my word for it:
Trump announced he's leading a "movement" to get rid of mail-in ballots and voting machines. He's setting up to steal the 2026 midterms and probably the 2028 presidential. Either through dismantling our voting system or rigging the maps.
Why? His cruel and reckless actions are deeply unpopular.
Hey, Glens Falls, New York! We heard Elise Stefanik hasn't been showing up for you or hearing your concerns with Trump's disastrous presidency.
But @pressley.house.gov, @reppaultonko.bsky.social, and I believe your voice matters. We're coming to you on August 22.

Celebrating 90 years of Social Security today. I'm fighting to make sure we make it to 91 and beyond.
To Trump and anyone who wants to privatize Social Security: HANDS OFF!
He is using the office of the presidency to enrich himself, his family, and his friends — while gutting health care and raising prices for the rest of us.
Trump and his family have made approximately $3.4 billion thanks to his two terms as president. This includes profits from crypto, MAGA merchandise, Mar-a-Lago and more.

This new legislation would establish a clear line: In the US, we do not exile people for exercising their constitutional rights.
We thank @ross.house.gov and @balint.house.gov for introducing this bill and standing firm in safeguarding our right to free speech, dissent, and political expression.
The Trump admin keeps violating the free speech rights of immigrants in this country.
This can't go unchecked. @balint.house.gov and I introduced our Land of the Free Act to prevent Trump from deporting individuals whose speech he finds inconvenient.

The Immigration and Nationality Act of 1952 was once a rarely used provision. But now Marco Rubio uses it daily. It was his basis for going after Mahmoud Khalil, Rümeysa Öztürk, and others to suppress political speech.
So @ross.house.gov and I want to repeal it.
Rather than fearmonger about crime in DC (crime rates have fallen sharply in the city), Trump should pressure Speaker Johnson to release the $1 billion in taxpayer money that Congress blocked.
This is a complete authoritarian power grab of the capital city.
Trans service members in the Air Force are being forced out with no retirement benefits. Utterly disgraceful way to treat people who have served our country for nearly 20 years. This does not make us safer.
The Republican playbook is simply lie, gaslight, repeat.
No amount of lying will change the reality that, because of their votes, hospitals will close and people are going to die without care.
I wrote my latest Substack on why so many of my Republican colleagues fall in line behind Trump, even when they disparage and mock him when the cameras aren’t around.

Alignment stats consider only votes where a clear yes/no majority existed for the legislator's party. Cross-party marks divergence where the vote matched the opposite party majority. ↔ indicates cross-party divergence.
