Housing NEEDS to be a part of the national political conversation. I introduced a sweeping housing bill because people are losing hope that they'll ever own a home or comfortably afford rent. We need to reimagine housing. Every American is feeling the effects of this crisis.

Today we observe Transgender Day of Remembrance to honor the trans people we have lost to anti-trans violence.

We all know this a petty, hateful distraction from the fact that she hasn’t delivered for her constituents. There's no bottom to the cruelty. We have an obligation to push back. When we allow attacks on someone’s basic human dignity, we're all made more cruel.

Democrats in Congress are still here to represent the 73 million Americans who rejected the Trump agenda. We'll stand firm in our actions to protect Social Security and health care, increase the federal minimum wage, hold corporations accountable, and stand up for working people.
Recharging after a long week.
The current flow of aid into Gaza is still nowhere near acceptable. The United States cannot continue to fund this war that has brought unimaginable death and destruction to Gaza. Israel must urgently work to surge aid into Gaza and take steps to immediately end the war.
A record number of Vermonters — 372,885 — voted in the general election. I'm encouraged that Vermonters continue to get more and more engaged in our democracy.
Next year, Congress will be controlled by far-right, anti-equality extremists with a chaos agenda.
