While millions of Americans continue to struggle with the costs of groceries, gas, and rent, the President of the United States is abusing the powers of his office to further enrich himself.

If he is not going to enforce the law, he should not be confirmed as our next AG.
The Attorney General, more so than any other member of a President's cabinet, needs to defend the notion that no individual is above the law.
In order to appease the President and to secure a promotion, Todd Blanche has chosen to disregard this sacred principle.

It was great to kick off the August district work period in Raytown with a congressional update and a conversation about the issues that matter most to our community. Thank you to everyone who came out, asked thoughtful questions, and shared your ideas. I’ll keep taking our voices back to Washington
I’m fighting to restore and strengthen these programs so we can keep families healthy and covered.
Medicare & Medicaid made health care accessible for millions of Americans. 61 years later, Republicans’ Medicaid cuts have ripped coverage away from kids, families, seniors & created a health care crisis in communities nationwide.
Endless wars cost lives, drain our military readiness, weaken our strategic posture, and divert resources from the challenges facing families right here at home. America deserves a foreign policy guided by strategy and not impulse.
The US military’s weapons stockpiles, including its inventory of crucial air defense missiles, remain severely depleted following a major flare up of the war with Iran in recent weeks, according to three sources familiar with Pentagon data and a new report by outside analysts. https://cnn.it/4fsFUvj
First Trump spent years trying to undermine confidence in our elections, now he’s trying to make voting itself more difficult. Americans deserve leadership that strengthens our democracy instead of chipping away at it.

Tax cuts tilted toward the ultrawealthy and policies that prioritize billionaires over workers got us here. It’s time to build an economy that works for everyone, not just the richest 34 people.
In the wealthiest nation on Earth, no one working full time should struggle to afford housing, groceries, or health care while a handful of billionaires amass unprecedented fortunes. This level of inequality didn’t happen by accident.
First Medicare. Then Medicaid. Then affordable health coverage. Now prescription drug costs for seniors. At some point, we have to ask who exactly are Trump and Republicans fighting for?

Every increase in interest rates means a family paying more for a mortgage, a small business delaying expansion, or a farmer paying more to finance equipment. The economic costs of Trump’s unnecessary war are mounting, and working Americans are footing the bill.
Families are struggling and instead of doing anything to help, Republicans are voting to raise your costs and hand out tax breaks to billionaires – all while Trump wages a reckless and deadly war and dictates which Americans he deems “worthy” of jobs and prosperity.
The Trump Administration cancelled nearly 300 cost-cutting energy projects to punish Americans who did not vote for Trump. And they lied about it.

Farmers shouldn't have to bear the cost of the President's reckless decisions.
Oil hit $100 a barrel yesterday, but the warning signs from Trump's war of choice with Iran have been here for months.
New data shows Missouri farmers ranked 11th in the nation for increased diesel costs during the 2026 planting season - an increase of $58.9 MILLION from the previous year.

Trump promised a manufacturing boom.
Instead, we've lost 75,000 jobs and $60 billion in annual factory construction since he took office.

Today marks 16 years since the last federal minimum wage increase. Since then, the cost of housing, groceries, health care, & child care has skyrocketed, leaving millions of workers behind. It's time to raise the wage so that every American can afford to live with dignity.
But a system backed by taxpayers must continually evolve to meet today’s housing challenges. Modernization and stronger oversight will ensure its public mission matches its public benefits.
The Federal Home Loan Bank System remains a cornerstone of our housing finance system, helping communities in Missouri and across the country expand homeownership and invest in affordable housing.
