Paramount to Pay Trump $16 Million to Settle ‘60 Minutes’ Lawsuit www.nytimes.com/2025/07/02/b... A little bit of America dies daily due to greed and manipulation of the “legal” system. Sad!

Trump’s One Big Ugly Bill just got uglier.
$1.3 TRILLION in cuts to Medicaid, health care subsidies, and SNAP, billions taken from clean energy and given to oil & gas—all to fund tax cuts for millionaires, billionaires, and the GOP donor base.
Call your reps. Tell them to vote NO on this disgrace.

Thom Tillis is retiring from the Senate as the Senate has changed and it’s no longer favorable for people who think independently.
Further, he is just a nice guy who can talk sports and music and life not just politics. And he has Tennessee roots. I consider him a friend.
Trump and the Republicans’ “BBB” is 1955 without Doris Day or Perry Como
Tongue in cheek doesn’t seem easy to convey here
Yesterday was my last day on T&I. Proud to have delivered record funding for Memphis—like $394M for the I-55 bridge—plus air travel protections, resources to protect our environment, and so much more.
Grateful to colleagues I worked with along the way. Now, it’s on to the Intelligence Committee.
3 years ago, Trump’s justices overturned Roe—and the GOP’s only gotten more extreme.
They’ve made reproductive health a nightmare, want to gut Medicare & Medicaid, and are tearing families apart in broad daylight.
I’m in this fight for women, for freedom, and for all Americans. I won’t back down.
Memphis has lost its most important citizen, Fred Smith. Federal express is our economic engine. But also in anything that affected Memphis, Fred Smith was there as Citizen Smith. From the FedEx forum to the Liberty stadium, which is being updated with his help, to our world class zoo.Thank you Fred!
Thanks. Marzie was a good human being, director, and friend.
#Juneteenth commemorates the end of slavery. It's a day to celebrate, honor the work of Black liberation, and recognize the work that remains ahead. It's about freedom, the most American value there is, and I was proud to cast my vote to make it a federal holiday.
Fixed Trump’s map.

Happy Father’s Day to all the devoted dads and father figures in Memphis and TN-9. Thank you for making such a big difference for your kids and for our communities!

The Rescissions Act is good for Russia, China, and undertakers. Americans will die if this bill passes.
First, do no harm.
Republicans are trying to repeal the FACE Act and eliminate protections for women seeking reproductive care. It’s a direct attack on women’s choice AND safety.
I’ve stood for women's rights my entire career—and I always will. Thank you to those who showed up yesterday to support Planned Parenthood.
Thanks to all who have signed the HAPPY BIRTHDAY Budget Act: @repdangoldman.bsky.social, @salinas.house.gov, @repbonnie.bsky.social, @benniethompson.bsky.social, @replsimon.bsky.social & @reprashida.govpeeps.us

Trump’s $45M birthday parade is days away—some estimates say $90M. A mountain of YOUR tax dollars wasted so one man can feel like a king.
I introduced the HAPPY BIRTHDAY Budget Act to stop it.
Not one Republican signed on. They’re either fine with it, or too scared to tell a man-child “no.”
