During yesterday's @waysmeanscmte.bsky.social hearing, I asked RFK Jr. if he agrees with eliminating childcare grants. He wouldn't answer me straight.
The Trump Administration is ignoring the childcare affordability crisis. They are saying they can't help families and children here at home because we have wars to fund. It's a slap in the face to every American.
That’s why today, I voted YES again to pass the War Powers Resolution. Unlike my Republican colleagues, I chose to listen to the American people and end Trump’s unauthorized war of choice.
By every metric, Trump’s war in Iran is a failure. It has cost the American people an estimated $40 billion, and roughly 61% of Americans oppose the war.
Today we celebrate Pasadena’s own Jackie Robinson, an American icon whose legacy goes beyond baseball and shaped the course of civil rights in our nation. With talent and determination, he broke barriers and paved the way for generations of Black athletes.

As millions suffer, Republicans are congratulating themselves for creating one of the most regressive bills in modern history, and doing nothing for the Americans who need relief.
On Tax Day, I joined @waysmeanscmte.bsky.social to defend our working families who are struggling because of Trump’s terrible economic agenda.
Even with this agreement, natural disaster survivors in my district & across the country are still struggling to rebuild their homes and lives. Trump must work to fulfill disaster supplemental funding requests NOW.
Let the record reflect, we have agreement. Cancelling billions of dollars in already-awarded hazard mitigation funding was a disastrous & illegal decision.
Today is Tax Day, and Trump continues to disappoint everyday taxpayers while rewarding the ultra-wealthy.
Under Trump’s tax law, individuals earning over $1 million/year received $96k in tax cuts, while working Americans making under $50k receive a meager 68 cents/day. That’s unacceptable.

For the average family in CA-28, electricity bills have surged by $145, and transportation costs increased another $581, squeezing already tight budgets.
Because of Trump’s war in Iran, the cost of living is at its highest level in years.
