I’m deeply saddened and horrified to hear about the tragic shooting at the church in Grand Blanc.
Nobody in America should fear violence in their place of worship.
I’m praying for everyone that was in the church, their loved ones, and the entire Grand Blanc community. This violence has got to stop.
My Democratic colleagues and I are ready to work to prevent a government shutdown. Republicans are refusing to negotiate or even come back to town. Enough partisan politics – we need a bill that actually serves the needs of the American people.
If ACA tax credits expire, 39,000 people in my district would not be able to afford seeing doctors or get the critical care they need. Republicans would rather shutdown government and let people suffer than negotiate a plan. This is irresponsible and destructive for hard-working Americans.
