Letting healthcare tax credits expire means Renee, along with 143,000 other people who purchased health coverage through AccessHealthCT last year, are seeing their premiums jump as much as $2,000.
My position is clear: stop the premiums from skyrocketing.
Today we remember the 241 American and 58 French military personnel killed in the 1983 Beirut bombings. This was the deadliest single day for the Marine Corps since WW2, with 220 Marines killed, including Captain Peter Shilabba of Connecticut.
Their service must never be forgotten.
CT families are scared. The stories are devastating– a single father concerned about his twins with autism losing their care & many worried they can't keep up with the cost of their medication.
Medicaid is more than just health care & I’m fighting to save it.
This week people across CT will be receiving notices on how much their health insurance premiums will increase next year.
I want to hear from you, please visit delauro.house.gov to tell me your story.
Today, Rep. LaMonica McIver fought back in court against Trump’s effort to imprison her for doing her job and conducting Congressional oversight of an ICE facility.
I stand with Rep. Iver against this mockery of our justice system. We will not be intimidated.

You may be struggling to keep up with the price of groceries and rent, but don’t worry, Secretary Noem can now recline in luxurious handcrafted seats.
Who paid? You.
Americans across the country are struggling with a devastating cost-of-living crisis. Health care costs are about to skyrocket for more than 20 million Americans.
What is the Trump administration doing about it? Spending $200 million of taxpayers’ money on luxury private jets.

Public outcry is key to fighting against Trump’s cruel policies. Today, thousands in CT & around the nation come together to declare we reject tyranny.
I stand against violent ICE raids, careless health care cuts, & countless other reckless actions taken by this administration.
I will never forget these values, which drive me every day.
This resolution also commits to further strengthening U.S.-Italy relations and growing this crucial and beneficial alliance for both countries. (3/3)
Growing up in Wooster Square—the heart of New Haven’s Italian American community—I learned the value of hard work, faith, family, responsibility, and community.
These values were present everywhere in our neighborhood, from the religious societies to our own kitchen table. (2/3)
I'm proud to introduce this bipartisan resolution honoring the histories & contributions of the nearly 20 million Italian American citizens of the U.S. during Italian American Heritage month.
Italian Americans are an integral part of our nation’s diverse cultural makeup.(1/3)
I met with health care workers who are anxious & afraid of Republican health care cuts- scared for their lives & their patients’.
One CT resident shared that her premium will likely double, which she can’t afford. This is why I am fighting to lower the costs and save healthcare.
Yesterday, I stood with the Democratic Women's Caucus to demand that Republicans come back & negotiate—before millions of Americans see their healthcare premiums skyrocket.
Families are struggling with the cost-of-living crisis, & Democrats are here in DC ready to find solutions.
Construction started on the Waterbury Train Station’s redevelopment. I’m proud that federal funding is supporting critical upgrades & new amenities that will grow ridership & revitalize downtown Waterbury.
I’ll continue to fight for investments in our infrastructure.
Energy prices are going up everywhere. What is President Trump's response?
Cancelling projects like Revolution Wind, which would help bring down costs all across Connecticut. Make it make sense.
