It's disgusting that even as our troops do their jobs, Trump and Republicans are so eager to neglect their own.
End this war. Now.

BREAKING: Senate Republicans blocked my War Powers Resolution that would have ended Trump's unnecessary, unjustified war against Iran.
These cowards have had four chances to stop this chaos in the Middle East.
And they put Trump's ego before America.
Every damn time.
On top of being outright stupid, this is a reckless escalation that will put our troops in even greater danger as they fight in a war of choice that Trump still cannot justify.
Congress must return to Washington immediately, vote on a War Powers Resolution to rein this dictatorial President in and be the coequal branch of government our founders intended us to be.
While our nation watches to see if this ceasefire deal holds in the wake of his deranged rhetoric, including a threat to destroy an entire civilization, this chaos cannot be excused.
Before Donald Trump launched this unnecessary and costly war, the Strait of Hormuz was open, gas was $1 less and 13 more American servicemembers were alive.
Only someone as deeply incompetent, delusional and unfit as Trump would see this as “winning.”
Newly married, assigned to Fort Polk and planning to start their life together.
How does Trump congratulate this American who volunteered to serve his country?
By detaining his wife.
There are no words.

Donald Trump just threatened to unilaterally destroy an entire civilization.
Is there genuinely no limit to what Republicans will allow this unhinged, unwell man to do?
Congress must come back to Washington to rein in this dangerous behavior immediately.
Rescued! Grateful to the brave servicemembers who put themselves in danger to find the missing crew member behind enemy lines.
Happy Easter! May this Sunday of renewal be filled with family, love and hope.
Look, no one likes to take their shoes off at the airport.
But after getting rid of the “Shoes Off” policy, Noem’s own IG warned her that she created a “new security vulnerability.”
This is how we end up with another Shoe Bomber. Safety must come first.
As someone shot down behind enemy lines, my heart goes out to the crew members and their loved ones who are waiting for answers. It's a relief one servicemember has been found and rescued, and I'm grateful for those risking their lives to look for the one who remains missing.
Pam Bondi turned our Department of Justice into the Department of Corruption, protecting pedophiles and going after Trump's enemies list at the expense of the American people.
Good riddance. Now, fire Hegseth.
Trump was warned this would happen. He did it anyway.
Now, over 10,000 Veterans lost their homes. 90,000 more are on track for foreclosure. On top of cutting jobs, slashing benefits and throwing our heroes into an unnecessary war.
The most anti-Veteran President in history.
Tonight was a nationally-televised, Truth Social post with zero concepts of a plan.
Trump can say we’re winning a war no one asked for—and that gas prices aren’t skyrocketing. But we all know the truth.
The Senate must do our constitutional duty and rein this President in.
Chag Sameach to our Jewish neighbors in Illinois and across the country! Wishing you all a peaceful and joyous Passover.
El Paso. Fort Hancock. DCA.
Has this Administration learned nothing?
Certainly doesn't feel like the time nor the place for this, but if Hegseth insists, Congress and the American people deserve to know what FAA and DoD are doing to ensure the public's safety.
He says he wants to bring meritocracy back to our military. He says he has our warfighters' backs.
But here he is, the most unqualified SecDef in history, denying troops a promotion that their fellow warfighters decided they've earned.
Hegseth is a disgrace to our heroes.
Instead, they chose to punish thousands of hardworking Americans—and the travelling public—for weeks for the sins of Trump’s lawless agents. That is unconscionable.
Moving forward, Democrats will not stop pushing until we deliver the ICE and Border Patrol reforms that the American people deserve.
Let’s be clear: Republicans have voted against Democrats’ proposals to pay TSA agents and fund FEMA and the Coast Guard 14 times.
They control the Senate, the House and the White House—and have had every opportunity to end the pain of this shutdown.
