In this country, we have grown too accustomed to offering thoughts and prayers.
Columbine. Virginia Tech. West Nickel Mines School. Sandy Hook. Parkland. Uvalde. An unending list of unspeakable tragedies.
I am sick with grief for Annunciation Catholic School.
Two children murdered at Mass. More than a dozen children wounded. A church-full of others and their families forever traumatized.
Innocents met with terror and gunfire, hit with bullets as they prayed. An act of pure evil.
Happy Back to School! 🍎
Best of luck to our students, faculty, and staff on the year ahead.
May it be a time of discovery, growth, and community. 📚
Soaking up those last few days of summer before school starts! ☀️
What a *treat* to stop by summer camp at La Mott Community Center.
Have a safe and restful weekend!
What a fun night at Meadowood Senior Living!
I was delighted to meet with their residents — to hear what's on their minds.
Thank you for your warm welcome and longtime civic engagement.
Putin is not interested in peace.
After more than three years, he continues to escalate Russia's brutal war — targeting civilians and innocent children.
The United States must stand strong with our European allies. We must see Ukraine win.
Unique Snacks, a sixth-generation family business, has long contributed to the distinctly delicious history of Pennsylvania pretzels.
It was a joy to revisit their factory in Reading to discuss the importance of small businesses in our commonwealth.
Thank you for the fun and informative tour! 🥨
What we saw today in Alaska is not normal.
My full statement:
Ahead of President Trump’s meeting with Putin, I’m especially mindful of our Ukrainian-American community.
We must see an end to Russia’s unprovoked war — and sovereignty for Ukraine.
May there be peace.
The Rodale Institute is an impressive resource for the next generation of farmers — leading organic farming efforts across the globe.
I toured their beautiful farm in Kutztown to learn more about their drive to educate, innovate, and nourish our communities.
Today marks 90 years of the Social Security Act.
When signing it into law, FDR called it “sound, needed and patriotic legislation.”
More than 166,000 people in our district depend on this needed program — and I will always work to protect and enhance your hard-earned benefits.
Healthcare workers are five times more likely to experience violence than other occupations.
They deserve to be safe at work.
It's time Congress passes my bipartisan Save Healthcare Workers Act, which would make it a federal crime to knowingly assault healthcare workers.
The reality of President Trump and Republicans' Big Ugly Bill?

“Gaza is out of food and time."
Since March, Palestinians have waited for food, water, medical supplies, and nutrition kits that have not come.

The right to clean water is guaranteed in our PA constitution — and American Water works to ensure it.
Their new water treatment plant is well under way to meet the growing demands of the area. I was also grateful to learn more about their process of combatting PFAS.
Thank you for the tour!
Donald Trump's senseless tariffs aren't bringing manufacturing jobs back to the U.S.
They're spiking costs for families struggling to pay for groceries, medicine, and their children's back to school supplies.

Our children deserve to go to bed without hunger.
Our parents and grandparents deserve to age with quality care and dignity.
Yet that's exactly what Republicans in Congress voted to strip away.

What a joy to join the grand opening of their new office in Pottstown this week!
Some good news!

This week, Russia launched a massive and barbaric attack across Ukraine — killing 27 and injuring nearly 100 civilians.
As Putin escalates his brutal war, I urge the President to stand firm in support for Ukraine's young democracy.
We must see Ukraine win.
