We need a responsible, bipartisan budget that serves the many, not the few — a budget that that is both constitutional and citizen-centered. Whether it’s today, tomorrow, or Friday — I am ready to return to DC and work with my colleagues in the Senate to keep our government funded.
Alongside my fellow House Democrats, I’m willing to vote for a clean, four-week government funding bill that stops devastating cuts to programs that hardworking families, veterans, seniors, children, and businesses depend on.
This is outrageous. Social Security is a lifeline for more than 160,000 people in PA-04. We should be making it easier for Americans to access the benefits they earned — not taking away services from seniors, people with disabilities, and families. www.newsweek.com/doge-pushes-...
Calling all student artists! 🎨 Each spring, the House sponsors the Congressional Art Competition — a nation-wide high school arts contest to recognize the talent in our nation and district. The deadline to apply is April 18.
I urge officials to faithfully participate in these negotiations – for the sake of 24 living hostages and 35 dead, including Americans — and for the thousands of innocents who will be in harms’ way should the war resume.
Our laws must catch up with AI. That's why I introduced the TAKE IT DOWN Act, which provides federal protections for victims of AI deep fakes. This bipartisan bill passed the Senate — the House must take action to safeguard Americans' privacy.
The overdose epidemic has ravaged every community. As we begin a new Congress, the bipartisan Addiction, Treatment, Recovery Caucus is renewing our efforts to bring the hope of recovery to more families. Thankful to join my son, Harry, in this mission. 💜
For three years, the courage of Ukrainians and the support of allies have bolstered their fight for democracy and freedom — for much longer than anyone thought possible. For the President to abandon them now — to side with a cruel dictator — is grotesque and un-American.
