Between cutting Medicaid and refusing to renew ACA credits, Republicans in Congress are creating a crisis that will affect all Americans.
In states like Texas, where Republican state lawmakers refused to expand Medicaid, we have some of the highest ACA enrollment.
In fact, #TX07 is number 21 on the list of districts with the most ACA enrollees (out of 435).
I am back in Washington this week, #TX07. This is the third week Speaker Johnson has told House Republicans not to bother to come to work, but House Democrats are here, ready to do the work to get the government open and to respond to the health care crisis we face.
Air traffic controllers are some of our most essential workers. They already lack sufficient support, and making them work without pay creates logistical and safety headaches. It's time for the GOP to get back to work and end the shutdown. #TrumpShutUSDown
