Wow. So he votes to gut Medicaid and throw 17 million people off of their healthcare and then dumps his Medicaid related stock to cover his own ass? That’s just evil and cruel.
Republican Congressman Bresnahan recently sold his stock in Centene, a Medicaid health care provider. The stock has now fallen 43% since his sale. His sale seemingly coincides with his vote to advance Trump's budget bill that will kick 17 million Americans off their health care.
Speaker Johnson should just take the L on this vote. Most of America doesn’t want this bill to pass anyways. It’s it both the worst and most unpopular piece of legislation in modern history.

Rep. Ron Estes supports the evil bill that will takeaway healthcare from his own people. He also refuses to hold a Townhall and face them. His constituents had just one question..
1,500+ at our Townhall in Wichita, Kansas this morning. Working people across the nation are pissed off about this rigged economy, and they’re showing up. Wichita’s Congressman refuses to host a Townhall, so we pulled up instead.
They do this cause they know the bill is terrible for their states & districts. So they post a tweet opposing it, then fold right after. That way, come election time, they can claim they “fought it.” 99% of the time, that fight was complete BS.
Also… I personally can’t wait for these people to be witnesses, looking up to the top Dem, an IMMIGRANT Congressman. Not to mention, he’s a great friend. Also has loads of respect from & for our caucus. He’s creative as hell & will bring the energy we need on this committee.
I’m so proud of my brotha, @robertgarcia.bsky.social, new Ranking Member of the Oversight Committee. He’s a tough progressive with a strong work ethic. As this corrupt admin breaks laws & enriches themselves while our people suffer, he will lead the fight to hold them accountable & show the nation.
