This is such a loss for Arizona and our Country. Chair Raul Grijalva has been a champion for progressive change his entire life. From the School Board to Congress, his leadership and voice inspired so many. Myself included. Rest in Power, Chairman Grijalva.
Congressman Raúl Grijalva, who represents Arizona’s 7th Congressional District, has died, his office says. Grijalva, who was 77, had been receiving treatment for cancer.

This Republican Spending Bill is meant to codify DOGE and give them more power. Hell no. The Senate should vote on the CLEAN 4-week CR so we can negotiate an actual spending bill. Not a DOGE empowerment bill.
House Democrats stand united for a four-week funding extension that stops harmful cuts, keeps government open, and allows Congress to reach a bipartisan funding agreement. I am ready to vote today, tomorrow or Friday to pass a four-week extension.
