Why is Elon Musk strong-arming federal employees to get access to our federal payment system, where all of our information is stored?
This system is responsible for processing trillions of dollars in payments every year, including for Social Security and Medicare — both wants to eliminate.
My fellow female vets (@repsherrill.bsky.social & Rep. Goodlander) & I are calling on Sec. Hegseth to continue to reimburse travel costs for service women seeking reproductive care.
Supporting the health of our service members is crucial to our national security. houlahan.house.gov/news/documen...
We are still collecting valentines for veterans, please drop off completed cards at my Reading or West Chester Office! 💌
-Siding with President Trump’s funder Elon Musk in the SpaceX feud with the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), resulting in the FAA Director's resignation.
To be continued next week...
-The illegal and unconstitutional freezing of federal funding for critically important government and community organizations nationwide.
-Silencing the CDC and ordering it to stop communications with the public — close on the heels of the first confirmed human death from avian flu in the US.
Law and Order: Episode 2
None of these actions make our country safer or citizens more prosperous, but here are just a few things the administration delivered this week:
-The illegal firing of 18 of our nation’s nonpartisan Inspectors General (IGs) who root out fraud, waste, and abuse.
Tax season has officially started – and there’s a better way to do your taxes this year! PA now offers direct file, a simple, secure, & FREE tool to file your federal and state tax returns.
Go to directfile.irs.gov to see if you are eligible & save time and money this tax season. File by April 15.
I trust the experienced civil servants at the NTSB and FAA to do the same. Grateful for the first responders who always rush in to help.
I grieve for the families and friends of the 67 souls lost in the collision last night at Reagan National. My colleagues and I on
@democrats-armedservices.house.gov are working to learn the facts and to prevent something like this from happening again.
Even then, it'll still be unconstitutional and deeply harmful to our community. I will keep fighting to stop the freeze.
Don't be satisfied with the Trump Administration's withdrawal of the OMB memo. President Trump and his allies still want to defund every service and program they can and will be back with a new version of the spending freeze with fewer legal holes.
Stripping General Mark Milley's protective detail & security clearance doesn't do anything for American military "lethality." Nor does removing his portraits from the Pentagon.
Secretary Hegseth, please stop wasting time on the President's petty grievances & do the real work to protect our nation.
Help us tell the real story: If you are affected by the spending freeze or any of the other 300 Executive Orders issued by President Trump in the past ten days, please share your story here: houlahan.house.gov/forms/form/?...
Despite the partial hold just handed down by a federal judge, I’m deeply concerned about President Trump's executive order freezing spending on federal grants. We are working to understand what this means for our community and will be sharing more when we have it. Stay tuned.
Reminder: My 94th town hall is happening tomorrow! Please join me for an important conversation.
Yesterday, I visited Pizza West Chester 🍕, a pizza shop that has recently amassed a large online following.
It was great meeting the passionate founders Speer and Joe, who have expanded with two other restaurant concepts, one serving cheesesteaks and (opening soon) one serving ice cream.
We need serious immigration reform in our country. The Laken Riley Act, which I voted against, is not that. Read my opinion piece in The Philadelphia Inquirer to learn why.

On International Holocaust Remembrance Day, I mourn the more than six million Jewish people and millions of other people murdered in the Holocaust.
We must continue our fight against antisemitism and hatred in all forms and ensure the horrors of the Holocaust are never forgotten.
➡️ Ignored the U.S. Constitution and proclaimed you're not American even if you were born in America
