UPDATE: 🚨🚨🚨 "When Justice Department officials reviewed what Attorney General Pam Bondi called a “truckload” of documents related to Jeffrey Epstein earlier this year, they discovered that Donald Trump’s name appeared multiple times, according to senior administration officials."
UPDATE: Republicans are shutting down the House of Representatives EARLY so they don't have to vote on releasing the Epstein files. No bills will be voted on. No legislative business will get done. All so they can protect perverts who abused children. The party of law & order, everyone.
As the top Democrat on the Water, Wildlife, & Fisheries subcommittee, I was excited to welcome TV host & conservationist Jeff Corwin to speak to us about the need for endangered species protections. I will not allow Republicans to gut these protections so big oil can fatten their profits.

GRANDSTANDING?! Wanting to release the names of the rich and powerful perverts who abused children is grandstanding? Their blind allegiance to President Trump had blinded them to the depths of their own depravity. It’s sick.
The image is a screenshot of a tweet from Jake Sherman.

It says: "NEWS — RALPH NORMAN, hardline conservative on the House Rules Committee, says the panel will not report a rule this week for bills, effectively shutting down the house floor.

Why?

He doesn’t want to vote on Democrats’ Epstein amendments. He says it’s grandstanding."
Cuts to our essential services and our jobs will devastate communities like Pittsburgh. That’s why America’s unions are mobilizing. We’re making sure ALL working people have the freedom, fairness and security they deserve to live their American Dream.

I have family who struggle with schizophrenia & traumatic brain injuries. Even today, I have to help them fill out piles of eligibility forms for their Medicaid. The Republican budget bill only makes this worse. But with most cuts set to begin in late 2026, we still have time to #SaveMedicaid.
@hakeem-jeffries.bsky.social is right: unions help make the American Dream a reality for workers. Federal workers who keep our essential services running deserve their American Dream, too. Tell your rep to sign the discharge petition and support the Protect America’s Workforce Act! 844-994-4554
We are hearing reports that the Trump Administration is releasing $73 million dollars in illegally withheld funding for Oregon public schools. I was proud to join the Oregon delegation in calling on these funds to be released. I will not stop until the funding Oregon is owed is delivered.
Union-busting is unacceptable—whether it’s on the shop floor or in the federal government. In the streets, the courts and the halls of power, we’ll fight to restore the collective bargaining rights of federal workers. The Protect America’s Workforce Act will make that happen.
Republican math: Giving 0.01% of our federal budget to local journalism = woke, wasteful, weak Giving $1 TRILLION to the Pentagon after they failed 7 straight audits = smart, strong, strategic, 👊🇺🇸🔥 THANK YOU FOR YOUR ATTENTION TO THIS MATTER.
The Senate voted early Thursday to strip $1.1 billion in funding from the Corporation for Public Broadcasting, a severe blow to 1,500 local public stations, as well as PBS and NPR
Today, the House Transportation & Infrastructure Committee passed my amendment to help upgrade Coast Guard life boats up & down the Oregon Coast. These upgraded vessels will better equip our Coast Guard to keep our coastal communities safe & keep our Coast Guardsmen safe out on the water too.
As fire season ramps up, do not forget to prepare your 'Go Bag.'   As Chief Ruiz-Temple said, that bag should have medicines, food, and water for yourself, your children, and pets.   It is important to pack it with a clear, calm mind — & don't forget your important documents & family memorabilia!
@steelworkers.bsky.social International VP Roxanne Brown: “Every worker should be able to go home at the end of the day safe and healthy. That’s not a privilege, that’s a right! Because of these rollbacks, millions of workers are less safe on the job.”
