It was great visiting @GoIUPAT this week in GA04 -- hearing their concerns & sharing how I'm fighting for them in Congress. Union members making our trades safer, building transformational & vital infrastructure across the U.S, and providing security for millions of working families in their trades.

Yesterday, the Supreme Court gutted the Voting Rights Act. Today, I am pushing my TERM Act, which would create term limits for Supreme Court Justices, and the John Lewis Voting Rights Advancement Act.
Today’s 6-3 MAGA SCOTUS decision in LA v Callais hurtles the precept of democracy for all backwards, in the same way as the equally egregious 1896 Louisiana case of Plessy v. Ferguson, which legalized Jim Crow racism. Today’s throwback decision legalizes Jim Crow 2.0.

There are a lot of exciting things on the horizon for MARTA and much work to be done. I look forward to seeing their continued progress.
It was great meeting with MARTA's Interim CEO, Jonathan Hunt, and MARTA Leadership in DC. I am glad to see the great modernization efforts they are making and the work they are doing to improve access to public transit in the Metro-Atlanta area.

This is a crucial step to move the National Parkinson's project forward and provide patients with the best standard of care.
As Co-Chair of the Parkinson’s Caucus and a proud supporter of the National Plan to End Parkinson's Act, I'm encouraged to see the seating of the Advisory Council on Parkinson's Research, Care, and Services.
Today is #WorldParkinsonDay. Over 1.1 million Americans are counting on us to prioritize research and care investments.
As Passover ends this evening, I am wishing all who have been celebrating in GA-04 and across the world a season of peace and time with loved ones celebrating the continuous fight for freedom.
The President says “An entire civilization will die this evening". This is well beyond 25th Amendment territory. Does this imply the use of a nuclear weapon? That would be the ultimate crime against humanity, and it must be prevented at all costs. 🙏🏽
Happy Easter to all who celebrate in GA-04 and beyond!
The ALERT Act implements all of the safety recommendations made by the NTSB following the midair collision over the Potomac last year. This bill is about responsibility. Our responsibility to the flying public, to the aviation workforce, and to the families who have already endured the unimaginable.
The USPTO has lost sight of its mission, and that is most obvious in the cancellation of the planned Southeast Regional Outreach Office in Atlanta. American innovation can thrive only when opportunity to participate is accessible to all.
I have certainly had my differences with previous Directors of the US Patent and Trademark Office, but never before have I had reason to doubt that the director was acting independently of the president. Until today.

Eid Mubarak to everyone celebrating in GA-04 and beyond! Wishing you and your loved ones many blessings on this holy day.
I just signed a discharge petition so that we can pay our TSA, Coast Guard, FEMA employees and cybersecurity professionals. Lines at ATL and other airports across the country are too damn long and we need to pay our people.
