Ranking Member Hank Johnson’s Statement on SCOTUS’ Nationwide Injunction Ruling.
It has been three years of fear, confusion, and suffering for so many. But also three years of organizing, resilience, and determination. And we are not done. I’m proud to stand with you in this fight for #reproductivefreedomnow!
Keeping cool, killing time reading NY Times awaiting votes. Stay safe in this heat, folks!
Trump First.
Netanyahu Second.
America Last.
CRSA Georgia's annual World Refugee Day Celebration reminds us that America would not be America without our diversity. Now, more than ever, we must protect refugees.
NO KINGS TODAY, NO KINGS TOMORROW, NO KINGS EVER, NO KINGS IN AMERICA
It’s simple: NO KINGS IN AMERICA
This Gun Violence Prevention Awareness Month, I am proud to wear orange and stand in solidarity with gun violence survivors and in memory of the victims of this senseless pattern of tragedy in our country. I am thankful for
@mcbath.house.gov & @robinkelly.house.gov for their continued leadership.
If it can happen to a Senator, it can happen to any of us. We will not accept this kind of misconduct from this wannabe king and his minions. It is time to get into some Good Trouble.
This is over the top madness! What are we coming to in this country? The land of the free and home of the brave has become the land of the king and home of the distressed. We must act to preserve our freedom!
A day after threatening to arrest California Governor Newsom for doing his job, Trump’s MAGA Department of Injustice has indicted Congresswoman LaMonica McIver for doing hers. All good thinking people must rise up to turn back this MAGA movement toward dictatorship!
Reposted byCongressman Hank Johnson
This indictment is no more justified than the original charges. I will not be intimidated. My full statement:
I’ve been at numerous protests, rallies, and town halls this year—including 4 town halls (1 in person a couple weeks ago) of my own. I would I encourage you to visit hankjohnson.house.gov.
The Ku Klux Klan tarred and feathered its opponents as a painful and humiliating message to others. I never imagined a Speaker of the House advocating for vigilantism against a political opponent. We must never tolerate the advocacy of violence.

I stand with my brothers and sisters who are peacefully protesting not only the cruelty of Donald Trump’s immigration crackdowns but the dictatorship he so desperately is trying to create, and I urge all those engaging in protest and demonstrations to remain non-violent.
Trump has finally “facilitated” the return of the wrongfully deported Kilmar Abrego Garcia, but not before big smack talking AG Bondi charged him with human smuggling. I trust that henceforth Mr. Abrego Garcia will receive the due process to which he is entitled.

On World Environment Day, we honor the beauty of our planet. With a lifetime score of 97% from the @lcv.org, I will continue to commit to keeping it beautiful and clean for generations to come.
