Pleased to join @salinas.house.gov last week for a tour of the programs at Easterseals Oregon and a roundtable discussion with veterans who have benefited from its services. We will continue to fight for all those who have served this country.
Yesterday, I had the opportunity to tour Easterseals in #Salem with @reptedlieu.bsky.social. We learned more about the essential services they provide to veterans and their families, such as affordable housing and employment opportunities. (1/2)
Honored to join Rep Marie Gluesenkamp Perez in Washington State earlier this week. Marie is a fantastic Representative and a Frontline Member. Retaining her seat is critical for flipping the House. You can learn more about Marie and help her at this link: marieforcongress.com

This action by Secretary Hegseth is strange and causes unnecessary costs and anxiety. We are in the 21st century. We do have technology that can connect people across the world. Hegseth could use Signal to communicate securely…as long as he doesn’t randomly invite a reporter.
TV entertainer and inexplicably Secretary of Defense/War/whatevs Pete Hegseth has called an urgent meeting of senior military leaders from around the world, the Pentagon has confirmed.
This morning I called on ABC to not yield and to reinstate the Jimmy Kimmel Live show. Radical FCC Chair Brendan Carr’s threats against ABC violate the First Amendment. WE WILL NOT YIELD.
FCC Chair Brendan Carr is a radical extremist abusing his authority. Every American can speak our minds freely because of the First Amendment.

The Trump Administration tried to put a 10-year moratorium ban on states regulating AI. It failed 99-1 in the Senate. Now, it's not whether we’re going to regulate AI. It's: do you want 17 states doing it? Or, do you want Congress to do it? The time to act is now.
To all the CEOs and executives in the tech industry who supported Trump because you think he supports American innovation, you got played. Trump doesn’t give a shit. He just imposed a massive tax on your company and workforce, and his action will stifle American innovation.

PATEL: The estate of Epstein has a voluminous amount of information that they have not released LIEU: Wouldn't it be great if the FBI subpoenaed the estate? P: The estate is under no obligation to provide that information L: That's just false. You're the frickin' FBI! You can subpoena information

LIEU: Is Donald Trump on Epstein's client list? PATEL: The index has been released LIEU: America, this is a huge red flag -- the FBI director could not answer whether Trump is on Epstein's client list
Congratulations to Xp Lee for winning the special election for a seat previously held by former Minnesota Speaker Melissa Hortman. Speaker Hortman and her husband were assassinated in June.

Credit scores fall at the fastest pace since the Great Recession. Americans are being economically crushed by the policies of Trump and Congressional Republicans.
Reporter: Credit scores are falling at the fastest pace since the Great Recession as Americans struggle to keep up with the rising cost of living. FICO says the delinquency rates are at the highest level since 2009 on car loans, credit cards, and personal loans.
