Calling for an immediate nationwide stand down of ICE and CBP interior operations.
Another ICE shooting has occurred. In the military, when preventable deaths occurred, we’d have stand downs.
Department of Homeland Security must immediately withdraw ICE from Minnesota to calm tensions, and IMPOSE A NATIONWIDE STAND DOWN OF ICE to review/change policies, procedures and training.
Another ICE shooting in Minnesota.

Trump and Vance have already lost. They thought Americans would embrace their policy of sending masked ICE agents to terrorize communities across the US.
Exactly the opposite happened.
Americans are standing up and saying NO. ICE is now at 63% disapproval and only 36% approval.
This is the scene in downtown Minneapolis this afternoon, where thousands of people have braved -25F wind chills to protest ICE operations in Minnesota.

Today, Jack Smith explained he had enough evidence to prove beyond a reasonable doubt that Donald Trump tried to overturn the election illegally, tried to get fake electors, and in a separate case, stole classified documents and tried to hide them.

Lieu uses his questioning time to contrast how Biden let Jack Smith operate independently with how Trump orders his underlings to open politicized investigations into his political foes

Lieu: "How scared are Republicans of talking about the Epstein files? They are so scared that they literally are calling Jack Smith ... Republicans would rather talk about the criminality of Donald Trump than about his associations with Epstein and his pedophelia ring."

This Martin Luther King Jr. Day, we honor the historic life and legacy of Dr. King.
We must never stop fighting for his dream of justice, equality, and opportunity for every American.
Under Trump, food prices increased in America. December had largest increase in grocery prices since 2022.
Under Trump, food prices are soaring in Venezuela.
Trump sucks at running America. No surprise he sucks at running Venezuela as Acting President of Venezuela.

The Trump Administration has lost the public’s sentiment on ICE, Border Patrol, and immigration.
The people of Minnesota are not alone. You are on the right side of history.

The statute of limitations for violations of federal law is 5 years.
Your photographs, videos, and livestreams can be used as evidence in future cases.
So while this Administration may not hold anyone accountable, a future Administration will.

The First Amendment gives Americans the right to peacefully observe & film ICE operations.
Visiting Minnesota today because the Trump Administration sent a poorly trained paramilitary force to harass & intimidate people.
Minnesotans exercising their rights said HELL NO.

House Democrats are here in Minnesota to fight for accountability and justice.

I asked Grok how much 100,000 shares of xAI is worth. Here is the answer:
The First Amendment protects the public’s right to:
1. Film ICE in public
2. Photograph ICE in public
3. Observe what ICE does in public
ICE and DHS officials cannot lay a finger on any American who is peacefully exercising First Amendment rights.
Trump and Rubio are doing such a great job running Venezuela that the U.S. is now warning Americans to leave Venezuela to escape armed militias.
And they want companies to go to Venezuela? No way companies will do that.
Trump’s Venezuela operation is a disaster.

Another poor jobs report, below expectations.
The harmful policies of Trump and his rubber stamp Republicans are hurting the American people.
And what is Trump focused on? “Running” Venezuela and giving $100,000 to every person in Greenland. Crazy.

It has been a year since the fires in Southern California last January.
Trump lied to disaster victims – federal aid still has not come. He's punishing people because of where they live, including the many Republicans who live in Southern California.
We need to deliver this aid immediately.

The videos of an ICE agent shooting Renee Nicole Good 3 times are highly disturbing.
Allegations of ICE blocking a doctor and delaying paramedics are highly disturbing.
A U.S. citizen and mom of three is now dead.
There must be a full and transparent investigation immediately.
