Because of the Trump Administration’s tariffs and economic chaos, Thanksgiving dinner is costing families 10% more than last year. That's more than 3x the rate of inflation. (1/2)

I’m horrified by the news that two members of the National Guard were shot today in D.C. I’m keeping them, their families, and every first responder on the scene in my thoughts. Violence has no place in our communities.
Southern Nevadans know how important protecting our water supply is. That’s why I’m teaming up with Congressman Juan Ciscomani to reauthorize my bipartisan Large-Scale Water Recycling Act so we can invest in major water recycling projects and keep taps flowing for families across the Southwest.
For over two decades, hundreds of veterans who were stationed at the Nevada Test and Training Range who have also fallen ill or died have been denied the benefits they rightfully earned. My bipartisan PROTECT Act will fix that and ensure our veterans can access the care they need. (2/2)
Our men and women in uniform make countless sacrifices to keep our nation safe, so it’s our duty to protect them from invisible enemies like toxic radiation exposure. (1/2)
Thank you to the Federal Home Loan Bank of San Francisco for helping put together this productive roundtable!
Southern Nevadans deserve homes they can afford — I’m working with local partners to make it possible. From cracking down on corporate ownership to cutting red tape and unlocking federal lands, we’re leaving no stone unturned to increase our housing supply and bring costs down for working families.
I’m supporting the Dignity Act to give our immigrant communities and businesses certainty instead of chaos ⬇️ (3/3)

We are in this mess in the first place because Congress has FAILED to pass comprehensive immigration reform. Since day one, I’ve been trying to pass bipartisan, common-sense legislation to secure our border and create an immigration system that is fast, fair, and final. (2/3)
The Trump Administration’s cruel immigration policies are hurting southern Nevada. Arresting workers, ripping apart communities, and causing chaos for small businesses is wrong, chaotic, and bad for our economy. 🧵(1/3)
Tariffs and hostile treatment of our neighbors are killing tourism and jobs in Las Vegas. The Administration needs to reverse course on their reckless economic agenda and focus on getting prices down.

Families and hardworking southern Nevadans deserve homes they can afford, but they’re getting priced out by big corporations and out-of-state investors.
I’m fighting for more transparency so we can get to the bottom of who’s really buying up all the homes in southern Nevada.
Republicans in Washington gave handouts to billionaires and left working people to foot the bill. I’ll continue standing up against policies that are making life too expensive for southern Nevadans.
Nevadans are paying too much for groceries, utilities, and housing. That’s because tariffs and the Big Bullshit Law have created an inflation crisis that benefits big corporations at the expense of working people.
This critical program was made possible by the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law that I helped get across the finish line. I look forward to seeing it reauthorized for another five years to continue delivering the water resources our communities need for our shared future.
We need to save every drop of water we can to combat the ongoing, drought-driven water crisis in Nevada and throughout the West. Large-scale water recycling works.
That’s exactly why I’m working with Rep. Ciscomani to get the Large-Scale Water Recycling Program reauthorized as soon as possible.
It’s clear that this economy isn’t working for working people. Tariffs are driving up food prices, and Republicans in Congress are standing by and allowing this President to increase costs for American families and small businesses.
I’m proud to help lead this bipartisan legislation with Rep. Fitzpatrick to ensure that federal funding is properly allocated to match our children’s health needs. Our children deserve access to the best care possible, no matter where they live🎗️

No parent or child should have to face the pain of pediatric cancer. Unfortunately, underinvestment in research and treatment has meant that Nevada kids often must wait or travel several hours for treatment or potentially lifesaving clinical trials.
