While Republicans in Washington have left working families out to dry, I joined The Just One Project this morning to help hardworking southern Nevadans get the groceries they need to feed their families.
Nevadans have been getting notices about their health care costs for next year… and they don’t like what they’re seeing. I’m fighting to save the ACA Tax Credit because Nevada families can not afford these price hikes on their health care.
I’ve been in Washington fighting to extend the ACA Tax Credit and prevent health care costs from doubling, tripling, and quadrupling for millions of Americans. Meanwhile, House Republicans have been on vacation instead of coming to work to save health care and reopen the government.
Tonight is gearing up to be SPOOKY! Stay safe, and have a wonderful Halloween 🎃👻 DRIVERS: stay focused, be patient, and slow down 🚗 TRICK OR TREATERS: stay visible, cross safely, and walk, don’t run! 🧟
#TeamLee had a blast last night at Commissioner Justin Jones’ “Epic Halloween Block Party” at Clark High School! Thanks for stopping by our trunk and showing us your awesome costumes! 🎃🍬
House Republicans haven’t been in Washington in over a month. I’ve been here, reading the messages of Nevadans who will lose their health coverage if we don’t save the ACA Tax Credits. Republicans need to come back to Washington to save health care for millions of Americans.
Rather than trusting the science and listening to the experts, including those at the Nevada National Security Sites, Donald Trump wants to perform dangerous, unnecessary tests to impress his buddies, Vladimir Putin and Xi Jinping. (2/3)
The Administration is using hunger as a weapon. They have the power to use emergency funds to cover SNAP benefits through November but they are DELIBERATELY withholding them, using hardworking Nevadans as political props. Republicans who are doing nothing to stop this are complicit in this cruelty.
