Congress has failed to fix our broken immigration system for DECADES. I’m working with both Republicans and Democrats to bring comprehensive reform with the bipartisan Dignity Act 🇺🇸
I joined 187 of my colleagues to file a brief at the Supreme Court urging the Justices to uphold states' bans on conversion therapy for minors.
Conversion therapy is cruel, harmful, and deceptive. That’s why Republicans and Democrats in Nevada came together to ban conversion therapy for minors in 2017.
Today, I’m fighting to make sure Nevada’s decision isn’t overturned in Washington.
I’m committed to supporting our future health providers and giving them the resources they need to keep Nevadans healthy.
Nevada faces a severe doctor shortage, ranking 45th for active physicians per capita. Today, I heard from the next generation of medical students who will be stepping up to fill that gap.
Today, we celebrate Women’s Equality Day and mark 105 years since the adoption of the 19th Amendment.
We are still working to achieve the equality these women envisioned more than a century ago. From equal pay to equal rights, we will not give up their fight.
Happy Dog Day!!!
But since January, NPS has lost nearly a quarter of its permanent staff, with the Administration seeking to slash NPS funding by more than $1 billion in 2026. Our national parks, gateway communities, and visitors deserve better than these cuts.
For 109 years, the National Park Service has protected and stewarded our country’s most treasured places — including Lake Mead, America’s first and largest national recreation area.
I’m proud to lead bipartisan legislation to make sure federal dollars are invested in educational and workforce programs to train more nurses and ensure southern Nevadans can access the health care they need.
Nurses are the backbone of quality health care. The severe nursing shortage in Nevada puts the quality of health care for too many Nevadans at risk. And faculty vacancies at nursing schools make it harder for prospective nurses to get the training they need to enter the workforce.
Supporting our students shouldn’t end when the last bell rings. Our kids deserve after school programming that helps them achieve their fullest potential.
When this Administration froze $61 million for after school programs in Nevada, I fought to get these funds released.
Cutting programs like Solar for All will only raise energy costs for Nevada businesses and families. The sun shines 300 days a year in Nevada — we should be working to make the Silver State the Solar State and investing in cleaner, cheaper forms of energy.

Families shouldn't have to choose between groceries and school supplies, but reckless economic policies like tariffs are driving up costs for Nevada shoppers this back-to-school season 🧵

Summerlin South Little League is headed to the U.S. Championship!
Nevada is rooting for you!

Now we have data that shows southern Nevadans are cutting their spending on essentials like food, clothing, health care, and home appliances. It’s clear that tariffs are hurting working families — the Administration must reverse course. (2/3)
