“I asked Grok” “I asked ChatGPT”
Well I asked the non-partisan CBO and they confirmed the GOP tax scam would hurt the finances of low-income Americans the most while giving benefits to the wealthiest among us.
I strongly condemn the vandalism of Temple Menorah in Milwaukee. Acts of antisemitism have no place in our communities.

No matter what comes of the game of ping pong between the House and Senate, the reality is clear: the GOP tax cuts to the wealthy will be paid for on the backs of children, seniors, veterans and working families who need SNAP to keep food on the table.
Happy Father’s Day to all the dads, stepdads, granddads, father figures, and anyone who fills a fatherly role with love and care. Today we celebrate you and the impact you make every day.

Knitting and plotting to thwart Trumps extreme agenda.
Happy National Knitting in Public Day from me and my fellow Congressional knitters, @repgwenmoore.bsky.social & @pingree.house.gov 🧶
My heart is broken this morning learning of the politically motivated attacks on two Minnesota lawmakers and their spouses.
I am mourning the lives lost and praying for the healing of the survivors.
We must stand united against political violence.
Throughout history, women have used knitting as quiet defiance.
Today on International Knitting in Public Day, my colleagues @degette.house.gov
& @pingree.house.gov celebrate that history by focusing on knitting our nation and social safety net back together.
“I believe that if you have good economic policies, you're naturally going to have a strong dollar.” - Secretary Scott Bessent
It was a privilege to host Foster Youth Shadow Day on Capitol Hill today.
It’s so important to see the resilient youth grow into a group of young people who can mentor and model for others.
Democracy demands oversight, not handcuffs.
Not just as a Senator, but as an American he has the right to free speech.
The Trump Administration owes Senator Padilla and the American People an apology for this brazen abuse of power.

MOORE: If I give you a tax cut, am I spending out of the treasury to do that, yes or no?
BESSENT: Not if we create more income
MOORE: Okay. We're talking about a gambler's fallacy.
Scott Bessent fails to explain why Republicans, who have a trifecta, have chosen to make tax provisions meant to help everyday Americans TEMPORARY while relying on skewed bad math to justify PERMANENT tax cuts to the wealthiest among us.
Last week I was able to meet with my constituent, Ramon Morales Reyes.
Today we got the good news this upstanding member of the community has been granted bond. I will continue fighting to ensure everyone on U.S. soil is afforded due process.

In a commentary, @rconniff.bsky.social praises @repgwenmoore.bsky.social and @pocan.house.gov for standing up to ICE wisconsinexaminer.com/2025/06/09/w...
Today I successfully met with my constituent Mr. Ramon Morales Reyes, who is being held in ICE detention.
Despite evidence revealing that Ramon was framed by the person who robbed him, he remains in jail. I will keep fighting to combat the misinformation spread by DHS & ensure he has due process.
Just as we saw during COVID, economic insecurity can lead to increases in domestic violence.
The GOP’s cruel cuts to things like SNAP and Medicaid will cause undue hardship, with similar devastating harms to women.
Domestic violence doesn't discriminate between Red and Blue zip codes, so our response as lawmakers needs to remain bipartisan, as it has been since the passage of VAWA in 1994.
Supporting survivors will never be 'waste, fraud and abuse,' no matter how much Donald Trump thinks it is.

Under the GOP Tax Scam, no one is too rich for a tax handout.
@repgwenmoore.bsky.social:
Republicans scrapped their own rules requiring 72 hours to read a bill so they could eke out a win in the middle of the night.

Alignment stats consider only votes where a clear yes/no majority existed for the legislator's party. Cross-party marks divergence where the vote matched the opposite party majority. ↔ indicates cross-party divergence.
