ICYMI in the news surrounding the market-crashing global trade war, a reminder that Donald Trump and the GOP are working to pass ANOTHER tax scam of giveaways for billionaires to the tune of trillions of dollars added to the national debt.   Enriching the rich insiders has always been the end goal.
Education remains the great equalizer in our society.   I oppose any and all efforts to dismantle the Department of Education, erase U.S. history, or ban books.   Every child deserves access to quality public education, no matter their ZIP code.
Trump is wrecking the economy and making life worse for everyday Americans, and Congressional Republicans are silent.   Insiders get a heads up and rich, Americans get a pink slip. We need fair economic and trade policies - not this chaotic lawless rule. www.cnbc.com/amp/2025/04/...
THANK YOU to the thousands who showed up across America for today’s #HandsOff protests. We made it loud and clear:
👊 Hands off our earned benefits
👊 Hands off our agencies
👊 Hands off our data
👊 Hands off our taxpayer money To the Republican Party: we won’t go quietly.
Myself and too many of my constituents know what it's like to struggle to keep the heat on and paid for in the winter. Cutting the staff that help keep the heat on for families in need in the Wisconsin cold is not just cruel, it is risking lives. www.nytimes.com/2025/04/02/c...
