We’re getting a new Queens Public Library in Rego Park! Honored to join local leaders to break ground on this new branch. This project is more than 30 years in the making and I can’t wait to see it come to life for our community.

Unions lift up workers, families, and our economy — and I’ll always stand with Amazon workers at the DBK facility fighting for union recognition & a fair contract. (2/2)
I'm proud to stand in solidarity with Amazon Teamsters rallying in Woodside today! I wish I could be there, but I'm in DC this week voting and continuing the fight to save health care. (1/2)
A special thank you to New York Hall of Science, Queensborough Community College, New York University, Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, Cornell University, Intrepid Museum and Columbia University for joining this conversation.

I held a hearing at Queens College on federal funding for STEM programs in New York—& how the Administration’s cuts are hurting Queens.
STEM programs educate the next generation and drive progress in health care, technology, & scientific research. These cuts threaten the innovations we depend on.
I wrote to Sec. Noem in March urging DHS to fund food pantries in my district.
She finally responded...on 9/11. Secretary Noem, federal programs supporting food pantries are not "waste, fraud, & abuse."
The disregard for New Yorkers & families struggling with rising grocery costs is unbelievable.
The Administration continues to attack federal workers and force dedicated public servants out of their jobs. We cannot stop fighting to restore the workplace rights they deserve. (2/2)
I signed a discharge petition to force a vote on the Protecting America’s Workforce Act — legislation that overturns the President’s Executive Order gutting collective bargaining rights for 67% of federal workers. (1/2)
I'm partnering with NYS Sen. John Liu to host a Fire Safety, CPR, Training, and FDNY Recruitment Event on Saturday, December 13, 11:00am - 2:00pm, at Pomonok Community Center! RSVP is required.

Proud to announce that Centro Civico Columbiano was awarded $3500 under the Community Leaders Grant Program through CitizensNYC! (1/2)
The world’s richest man cut aid to the world’s poorest people.
Now, 12 million more children under 5 could die because of it.
Pulling the rug out from millions of people, especially women and children, only endangers America’s long-term safety, strength, and prosperity.
Proud to deliver $850k in federal funding for Selfhelp Community Services' Martin Lande House!
Making sure Queens seniors have the resources they need is one of my top priorities. These federal dollars will support the great work SelfHelp is doing to provide safe, comfortable spaces for seniors.
I'm headed back to Washington, DC today! Before my flight, I joined the groundbreaking for the new Queens Public Library in Rego Park and stopped by our veterans mobile office hours event in Woodside — where my office is helping them access the VA benefits they’ve earned.
✈️Next stop: Capitol Hill!
Immigrations courts are already experiencing major backlogs. This will only cause more delays, put more strain on the courts, and penalize immigrants and their family members who are trying to follow the law. (2/2)
I'm demanding answers from Attorney General Pam Bondi about the 8 federal judges who were abruptly fired from 26 Federal Plaza in New York. (1/2)
