Trump’s co-president Elon Musk took billions in government subsidies to help him become the richest man on earth but is demanding the GOP force a shutdown that will hurt people who actually work for a living.
It’s once again whatever Trump’s billionaire buddies want over everyone else.
As Amazon Teamsters across the country unite to win their first Teamsters contract, I'm standing in solidarity with every hardworking American's right to organize.
Every worker deserves the rights, respect, wages, benefits, and job protections they’ve earned.

Beyond grateful to have so many dedicated partners in the fight to protect the Ohio River.
Thank you @americanrivers.bsky.social, @nationalwildlife.bsky.social, & the Ohio River Basin Alliance for joining us this morning to announce the Ohio River Restoration Program Act—this is only the beginning!

A big day for the #OhioRiver: @repmcgarvey.bsky.social is announcing a bill to create an EPA program office dedicated to restoration + protection of the Ohio.
The Ohio River, McGarvey says, is the largest U.S. waterbody without dedicated federal funds. Story:

The Ohio River needs our help.
It's the second most endangered river in the country, but it doesn't receive any dedicated federal funding—Rep. Houchin and I are working to change that.
Today, we introduced the first ever comprehensive bill to tackle the threats facing the Ohio.
Very honored to join Whip Katherine Clark's team as a Chief Deputy Whip for the 119th Congress.
In the coming years, strong leadership and unity among our Democratic colleagues will be the key to moving our country forward—let's get to work!
Headed back to DC for our last week in Congress before the year ends — looks like everyone is getting in the holiday spirit ❄️
My statement on the finalized consent decree with DOJ and LMPD:
Very excited to join Reps. Brittany Pettersen and Gabe Amo as co-Chairs of the Future Forum Caucus.
Too often, young people in America are undervalued and overlooked—we're working to change that.
Spread the warmth this holiday season!
We're collecting handmade cards, notes, and letters to deliver to those who've served our country—we hope you'll participate. Please drop off all cards before December 19!
The VA screwed up. But they found it, admitted it, and fixed it—we can’t let it distract us from the real problems.
There are 1 million homeless vets, vets who can't get the care they need, and vets waiting on earned benefits.
Any accounting should show we're not doing enough.
Closed out the year with one last great telephone town hall!
Thanks to the thousands of Louisvillians who joined to share their thoughts about what's happening up in DC and at home in Louisville.
This week, I spoke on the House floor to honor the life of Thomas Cork Sr.—a Montford Point Marine and American hero.
He made our country and our hometown proud, and his legacy will live on for generations.
Very honored to be elected a Congressional Progressive Caucus Vice Chair!
We have a lot of work to do, and there's no one I'd rather join in the fight to build a fairer, more just, and more equitable America.

I have heard from our local Pakistani community about this situation. The U.S. stands by freedom of expression and peaceful assembly everywhere in the world, and we hope protestors and the Pakistani authorities can refrain from violence and respect the fundamental rights and freedoms of Pakistanis.
I'm hosting my last telephone town hall of the year THIS THURSDAY 🗓️
I want to hear from you about the issues on your mind as we close out the year and head into a new Congress—hope you can join!
