As you read this, Congressional Republicans are working on a massive tax break for their billionaire donors that is not mathematically possible without cutting Medicaid.
Last night, I joined @maddow.msnbc.com to discuss my most recent town hall in rural Wisconsin! Watch here: youtu.be/sjOrdLQc2dQ?...
I’m joining @maddow.msnbc.com on MSNBC in just a few minutes to discuss why I’m not afraid to hold town halls unlike some of my colleagues on the other side of the aisle. Be sure to tune in!
Donald Trump has sold America to the highest bidder and that bidder is Elon Musk.

Elon Musk has made clear that he wants to cut Social Security, Medicare, and Medicaid.
The House Republican partisan funding bill utterly fails to protect these vital benefits. That's why Democrats are united to stop it.
Another day under the Trump Administration, another day where school kids and small farmers are being left behind and ripped off. Unacceptable.
Transparency is the way to go. Why are my republican colleagues too scared to do town halls as well?

In addition to my Protect Social Security and Medicare bill, I am excited to co-sponsor two new bills that would protect Social Security from Trump and Musk! These bills would ensure they cannot close Social Security field offices and block Musk/DOGE from violating seniors' personal information.
House Republicans passed the start of the process for a budget bill that is not mathematically possible without cuts to Medicaid. Medicaid serves more than 1 million Wisconsinites. Here are some of their stories:
Don't believe Trump and Musk are going after your Social Security? Well, Musk actually said it:
“Most of the federal spending is entitlements,” Musk told the Fox Business Network. “That’s the big one to eliminate.”
The Trump Administration kidnapped an activist in the middle of the night. Mahmoud Khalil's detention is a clear violation of the First Amendment. This is the behavior of an authoritarian regime, not a democracy. He must be released immediately.

It's been 50 days since Trump's second term began, and since then, we've seen an avalanche of attacks against the queer community.
Our Co-Chairs & Vice Chairs have a message for the LGBTQI+ community, especially young trans & queer people, posted on our YouTube:

Hours after Trump said that there might be a recession, the stock market tanked. A billionaire president playing with the retirement savings of millions of Americans is completely unacceptable.
I held a town hall in rural Wisconsin over the weekend. People are deeply upset and concerned about the House Republican proposed cuts to Medicaid. No wonder my Republican colleagues are being told not to host town halls.
As Chair of the Congressional HIV/AIDS Caucus, I stand with my colleagues in recognizing today as National Women & Girls HIV & AIDS Awareness Day!
Great news from the district!

"In a town with just over 1,000 residents, hundreds of people packed Belmont's Community Building Saturday for a town hall hosted by Democratic Rep. Mark Pocan.
The building was filled to capacity with people even waiting outside and peeking through the windows..."

Asi Wind is one of the best magicians in the United States. Enjoy a little bit of his great magic.
Maybe he should focus on lowering costs instead of golfing and attacking trans kids and immigrants. www.politico.com/news/2025/03...
