ICE is separating families & traumatizing our neighbors who provide valuable contributions to our communities.
Folks like Jose, Alexis, & Darwin — sons, fathers, & husbands who are loved & whose labor is valued.
We must keep fighting for the freedom, dignity, & humanity of our immigrant neighbors.

Yet again, the Trump Administration is protecting corporations instead of consumers.
Hiding this data about corporate misconduct will only make it harder to hold Wall Street and predatory companies accountable for ripping off our families.
Shameful.
The $500K we delivered for 2Life Communities’ Brooke House Village Center is an investment in healthy aging.
These transformative investments are what happens when we put those closest to the pain, closest to the power.
The disparities in this report are damning & unsurprising for the families who've experienced them for generations.
We must enact bold policies that close the racial wealth gap.
Like Baby Bonds, student debt cancellation, affordable housing, supporting minority-owned small businesses & more.
People are struggling under Trump's economic crisis & Black workers continue to be the hardest hit.
If we want to see meaningful growth in our economy & communities, that means investing in our Black workers.
That's why I'm pressing the Fed to address Black unemployment NOW.

Today, I conducted oversight of an ICE facility in Plymouth. Inside, I spoke with people who were abducted by ICE on their way to work & ripped away from their families, including a man named Darwin.
His fiance, Angelina, joined me outside to demand justice. This is her story.

🧵 I was the first member of Congress to demand that we abolish ICE. Today, after hearing heartbreaking stories at the Plymouth detention facility from folks who were abducted by ICE & ripped away from their families, my resolve to abolish this rogue agency has never been stronger.
We came to Plymouth to conduct oversight of a major detention facility in our state, check on our constituents, & demand accountability of ICE.
The trauma experienced by families like Darwin's is a reminder of why we must abolish ICE, end qualified immunity, & stop their campaign of terror.
Everyone deserves to see themselves reflected in our literature.
And with book bans on the rise nationwide, I'm proud that Massachusetts is protecting our freedom to read.
Congress must follow suit and pass my Books Save Lives Act to confront book bans head-on.
We can't let Trump and ICE continue to rip apart families, violate our rights, and rob our communities of essential neighbors & workers.
We must abolish ICE, end qualified immunity, and fight for the dignity & humanity of our immigrant neighbors.
Just left the Plymouth ICE facility after conducting an unannounced oversight visit—our right as members of Congress.
We spoke with detainees like my constituent Darwin who have no criminal record and deserve to be home with their families.
It was a joy to see this work up close.
Urban agriculture is more than just food—it's community in action, promoting food & environmental justice.
While Trump attacks urban farmers & food programs, I'm grateful that the Massachusetts Department of Agricultural Resources and cities like Everett are standing in the gap.
This is terrifying, cruel & inhumane.
ICE is a rogue agency that moves with disregard for public safety, constitutional rights & basic human dignity.
If agents have gloves that electrocute anyone they touch, we're all in danger.
We must abolish ICE, end qualified immunity & protect our neighbors.
Families are struggling to pay for rent, medicine, and groceries.
Yet Trump is starting endless wars, attacking immigrants, and making life less affordable daily.
I joined @masspeaceaction.bsky.social to demand a shift in our priorities: away from war and cruelty, and toward our people.

Massachusetts is showing what it looks like to trust patients and doctors—not politicians.
Abortion care should be guided by patients and their medical providers.
Proud to see Gov. Healey stand up for reproductive freedom.
While Trump attacks our LGBTQ+ siblings & guts essential housing programs, I’m proud to deliver funds to help seniors in the #MA7 access the affordable housing they deserve.
It was a joy to join @markey.senate.gov & our advocates in Hyde Park to see the progress being made at The Pryde.
I'm in Hyde Park this morning to celebrate the federal funding we helped deliver with @markey.senate.gov and @warren.senate.gov for The Pryde, an affordable housing development for LGBTQ+ seniors in Boston.
Tune in.

Thank you @massgovernor.bsky.social for protecting and expanding abortion care in the Commonwealth.
And thank you to our patients, advocates, & storytellers who made this bill possible.
Everyone should be able to get the care they need right here at home.
