Thanks to Pioneer Energy for inviting us to learn more about the issues they face securing federal grants for responsible energy production. Since Trump was sworn in, millions of dollars in grants have been withheld, I'll always fight to support the innovative work of businesses like this one.
Grateful to visit @stridechc in Wheat Ridge to see the care they provide for families who need it most. But because of Trump, many could lose access. I’m working with local providers to show how essential these services are, our dollars should go to families, not billionaires.
Many in our community fear proposed budget cuts — not just to HUD — that put 200,000+ Coloradans, including domestic violence survivors, at risk of losing safe housing and support. We’re fighting to protect these critical services because families deserve better.
Heartbreaking doesn’t even do it justice. I’m devastated by another school shooting in Minneapolis. No family should endure this heartbreak, no child should wonder if school is safe. Thoughts & prayers aren’t enough, we need real action. apnews.com/article/minn...
I joined my colleague & fellow mom Rep. Pressley to demand Sec. Rubio take urgent action. While steps are being taken to get more aid into Gaza, the US, UN & Israel must prioritize baby formula. As a mom, I can’t fathom the desperation parents face, every minute counts.
Imagine a military blockade stands between you & the ability to feed your hungry baby. That's the reality for parents in Gaza. @pettersen.house.gov and I are leading 101 Members of Congress demanding Sec. Rubio pressure the Israeli govt to surge aid and formula to babies at risk of starvation.

Joining Congresswomen Pressley and Pettersen in sending the letter are:

We're already feeling the ramifications of Trump's Big Ugly Bill here in CO. I met with Wheat Ridge leaders who shared real concerns about the fallout. I know our local leaders' commitment & our ability to work together will help us navigate the difficult road ahead.
When we’re not voting on the House floor, it’s rare the CO delegation is all in one place. While we had different takes on the impacts of Trump’s big ugly bill on Colorado, I’m grateful to the @cochamber for hosting a conversation about the issues that are critical to our state.
If you’ve visited a national park this summer, you may have noticed dirty bathrooms or neglected trails. That’s because Trumps layoffs are making us less safe with fewer people to manage the land and reduce wildfire risk. CO's public lands are part of who we are and deserve protection.
I’m honored to join in introducing a bipartisan resolution that recognizes today as Fentanyl Prevention & Awareness Day. I stood by my mom, who struggled with addiction. She is now celebrating 8 years in recovery. This day aids in the work of spreading awareness & advocating for access to treatment.
In Chaffee, I met with first responders who acted quickly during this summer’s Mountain View Fire. Trump’s cuts to our federal workforce are leaving many wondering if they can continue in these jobs. I'm thankful for the work they do day in & day out, & I promise to always fight for them in Congress
When a Navy widow struggled for months to get vital tax paperwork my office stepped in to help. Within 2 weeks, we were able to get her the funds she depended on. We're here to make sure the government works for you. Please don't hesitate to reach out for assistance 303.274.7944.
It was great to be back in Lake County to see the incredible work local volunteers are doing to support families in need. With Trump's reckless budget slashing food assistance, it’s critical we ensure Lake County has the resources to continue meeting this demand.
Trump Tariffs 101 means higher costs for parents who are already struggling. He promised to lower costs on 'day one' but now I’m calling on @POTUS to address these rising costs on school supplies because hardworking families like yours shouldn't be the ones paying the price for his trade war.
One of my favorite parts of my recent rural tour was getting to spend time at the Boys and Girls Club in Salida! Making sure our kids have a safe place to be helps them thrive and grow, and also helps our economy. I also pressed Trump to release funding to keep clubs open nationwide.
The man who sent a violent mob to storm the Capitol when he lost is trying to rig our elections again. One of my proudest moments was helping Colorado build one of the strongest and most secure vote-by-mail systems in the country. We love our voting system in Colorado & can’t let Trump take it away.
After years of planning, Cripple Creek’s “A Place for Kids” childcare center will officially break ground this September. I am proud to have requested $1.3 million in federal community funding to help bring this facility to life. We are all so excited it’s now finally happening!
I had the opportunity to visit the Heart of the Rockies Regional Medical Center while I was in Chaffee County. It's devastating to think about the lives that will be unnecessarily lost and what it will take to rebuild the healthcare systems that are critical to our communities.
Over 400,000 Coloradans are at risk of losing health care. This is going to have cascading effects for our communities and our economy, raising costs for everyone.   Never buy Trump's lies - he never cared about you and this bill couldn’t make that more clear.
Proud to meet with Latino leaders who serve one of the largest immigrant communities in CO-07 in Lake County. We have a responsibility to deliver common-sense immigration reform by providing a pathway for people to work here. What Trump is doing is lawless, unconstitutional and unconscionable.
Kicked off my rural tour in Lake County with a community coffee event in Leadville to give updates on the implementation of Trump's Big Bad Bill.  It’s going to be a difficult road ahead, but I know we’ll get through it together. My team is always here to support you in every way we can!
