Thanks to Elon Musk and his nighttime crew of computer hackers and misanthropes at DOGE, the door is closing on chances for countless young adults with disabilities to live with dignity and self-sufficiency. We must stop this fanatical destruction of opportunity for young people with disabilities.

NEWS: SCOTUS has at least temporarily blocked Trump’s asserted power to disappear people to a dictator’s torture prison without a hearing. This order is a critical stand for restoring due process and the rule of law.
Wishing love and peace to all celebrating Easter. May you enjoy time with friends and loved ones on this meaningful and sacred day.
We’re winning in Court every day because the Constitution is on the side of Due Process. Of course Thomas and Alito continue to act like mob judges, so keep fighting for the Constitution everyone.

Trump’s war on higher ed and public schools has expanded to an exciting new front: pre-K! Elon Musk and DOGE are shutting down a preschool near you. The richest government contractor in the world will stop those 3-year olds from defrauding our people.
The times require that elected officials be not just representatives of our communities and states but organizers defending American constitutional democracy and leaders out of this lapse into authoritarian rule.
Watch this clip from @podsaveamerica.crooked.com:
Mr. Trump—I’ve known Chris Van Hollen since the last century, and the last thing anyone who knows him would call him is a grandstander. He’s a defender of human rights. You should meet with him—you could learn something.

Apparently not content to wipe out hundreds of thousands of American jobs, DOGE is now putting Russian computer hackers out of work by personally giving our data directly to the Kremlin and Vladimir Putin!
Trump’s fascist attack on Due Process has just prompted another eloquent and blistering takedown by a Reagan-nominated pillar of the conservative judicial establishment. Thank you, Judge Wilkinson, for showing what a real judge sounds like.
Beaming proud to say @lisaannwalter.bsky.social, comedienne and shining star of Abbott Elementary, grew up and got her acting chops right here in MoCo.
This MD-08 Local Hero is a mainstay of screen and stage and an unflagging advocate for public education in America.
Activism is the antidote to fear. We will oppose every attack on democracy, freedom and the rule of law. And we will defeat fascism in America.
How is it possible U.S. citizens are being held as illegal aliens in America even after they produce their birth certificate? This is intolerable. www.nbcnews.com/news/latino/...
Grateful to my friend and MD colleague @ChrisVanHollen for traveling to El Salvador to try to check on Abrego Garcia’s condition. We will not let up the pressure on the self-proclaimed dictator of El Salvador or the aspiring dictator here. We will continue the fight to bring Abrego Garcia home.
More casualties on the killing fields of a nation with the highest gun violence rate in the developed world. We send sympathy and solidarity to the wounded, the victims’ families, and the FSU community in the midst of this devastation.
If the rights of non-citizens are not secure, then the rights of citizens are not secure.
President Trump's attempt to fire two independent FTC commissioners is an attack on the agency's essential work fighting consumer fraud, online scams and business monopoly.
More than 200 Congressional Democrats are saying 'hell no.' The President has no right to destroy the FTC.
It’s no coincidence that the tech broligarchs who kissed Trump’s ring are first in line for tariff exemptions on their Chinese-made products.
Americans will pay more while billionaires catch another break.
Lisa Ann Walter might play a teacher on Abbott Elementary, but in real life, she's also a fierce crusader for public education.
Thank you, @lisaannwalter.bsky.social, for stopping by to help spread the word about protecting the Department of Education so that our children can succeed.
What do you know, President Trump is lockstep with a foreign dictator on detaining, shackling and deporting Trump’s deportee without any Due Process.
Trump must follow the Supreme Court’s order to facilitate the return of their illegal prisoner.
As someone who knows how to read, I can tell you with certainty the Supreme Court did not say that.
The White House admitted it was an "administrative error" to deport Abrego Garcia and the Supreme Court called on the government to facilitate his return.
