We rise with Senator Cory Booker as he holds the Senate floor against Trump’s attempts to rip apart the Bill of Rights and the rule of law. Stand strong, Cory! America is with you.
On this Trans Day of Visibility—while Trump and MAGA scapegoat and fearmonger—we recommit to fighting so all Americans can live with equal rights and respect under the law.
Tom Di Liberto is an accomplished climate scientist and analyst who was axed from NOAA by Musk's DOGE. This MD-08 Local Hero exemplifies the dedication and creativity of thousands of federal employees.
I stood today with leaders of the labor movement against Trump, Musk and MAGA as they swing a wrecking ball at the government, the federal workforce and collective bargaining rights.
Musk is lying when he says you’ll get more money from Social Security. What you will get from his band of juvenile tech bros is longer lines in person and on the phone. Actions speak louder than words.
Trump's shocking project to relocate federal agencies away from the National Capital Region is designed to dismantle the government itself. Let's stop them before they put the White House in Moscow to be closer to the home office.
Holding close the six souls who lost their lives one year ago today in Maryland's Francis Scott Key Bridge collaspe. May their memory be a blessing to all who loved them.
Medicare, Medicaid and Social Security are the magnificent achievements of American democracy. There's no way the American people will let Elon Musk and Trump's billionaire cabinet tear down what prior generations have built.
Trump is imposing an ultimatum on judges: agree with my bogus analysis of the law or face impeachment. Never has a judge been impeached over doctrinal differences—in other words, for doing their jobs. MAGA now wants to make sound legal analysis a high crime and misdemeanor.
Trump, do you want to set up a compensation fund for the 140 sworn police officers wounded by your J6 “patriots” too? Or is it just the criminals you’re proposing to pay reparations? Why should the taxpayers pay for the upkeep of your mercenary gang?
Trump says he's looking at setting up some sort of government "compensation fund" for the January 6 criminals that he pardoned
Trump's promising that Elon Musk won't break Social Security with his DOGE redesign. But this wouldn't be the first time the billionaire broke something he promised was unbreakable.
History shows a legislative strategy alone is not sufficient to defeat fascists and dictators. You need organized civil society fighting back along with persistent legislative defense of democratic institutions and programs.
Trump’s corporate state uses the White House lawn for a Tesla auto show, promotes Tesla stock on TV and hustles Trump deals globally. Americans can't afford groceries or medicine, but the president has turned the government into a moneymaking operation for MAGA billionaires.
