There must be a full, transparent investigation and real accountability.

Reports that a woman was killed by an #ICE agent in #Minnesota are deeply disturbing and unacceptable.
This unfortunate development is a foreseeable result of #Trump’s anti-immigration policies.
Federal officers have a duty to protect life — not recklessly end it.

One year ago, our Palisades community endured unimaginable loss. Homes & memories were shaken, but not our spirit.
I’m inspired by families rebuilding & neighbors who keep showing up. Today we remember & stand with a community defined not by fire, but by resilience.

Five years ago today, our democracy was tested.
On #January6th, a violent mob attacked the U.S. Capitol to overturn a free and fair election. Officers were injured, lives were lost, and the peaceful transfer of power was put at risk.
We must never minimize what happened or allow it to be repeated.
I made the same point this morning on @ktla.com

This New Year’s Day, thousands of devout Hindus in our community visited their temples for blessings and prayers. It was my honor to visit the Malibu Hindu Temple and the Valley Hindu Temple.
You fill my spirit with hope for the future of our country, and have well-earned the confidence of your district and the gratitude of the nation you will serve.
I always look forward to these calls. (2/2)
Honored to speak with some inspiring young people & to help in one small but meaningful way to open a door to them.
To each of you & your families who will share their own portion of your service, thank you for meeting this moment with duty & true excellence. (1/2)

Today and always, I stand with the #Iranian people as they demand democracy and a government that is accountable to the people of #Iran. (2/2)
#MerryChristmas to all who celebrate. Warmest wishes to you and your loved ones.
Informative meeting with leaders of Eritrea's Blue Revolution movement, which is braving fierce political repression to fight for democracy in #Eritrea.
I stand with Eritreans seeking an end to the oppressive #Afwerki regime, which has brutalized Eritrea and its neighbors for decades.
#CandaceOwens has adopted the views of the Nazi party, and that's just fine with #JDVance.
