I want to wish everyone who celebrates a very Happy #Hanukkah!
May these next eight days be filled with peace, light and blessings.
Chag Sameach!
Wishing a very #MerryChristmas to those celebrating!
May your festivities be filled with warmth and joy.
Just the kind of guy #Trump would want as Attorney General.
How incredibly bad is Trump decision making process.

The good news: government shutdown averted.
The bad news: over a dozen pieces of important legislation — that both Republicans & Democrats agreed to — were stripped out at the insistence of #DonaldTrump & #ElonMusk

Elon: As a part of the U.S. government, you should not be telling Germans how to vote.
Either accept the responsibilities of government service, or resign from what you call the Dept. of Government Efficiency.
Also file the personal financial disclosure statements required of government officials.

I joined @cnn.com earlier today to discuss a potential #MuskShutdown of our government as well as the on-going situation in #SouthKorea ⬇️

I agree. However, that doesn’t mean I will vote for every temporary suspension of the debt limit.
If #Republicans insist on keeping the debt limit as a tactic they might use in the future, #Democrats must maintain their options.
Partisan pundits will argue about who will “Win” a #shutdown.
All I know is who will Lose: The American people.

House Republicans have been ordered to shut down the government.
And hurt the working class Americans they claim to support.
You break the bipartisan agreement, you own the consequences that follow.
This is Yarden. Her sister Romi Gonen has been held hostage in Gaza for 438 excruciatingly heartbreaking days.
She and every hostage held by #Hamas must come home - NOW!
#BringThemHomeNOW
It’s official: #ElonMusk and Donald #Trump want to shut down the federal government from Friday until January 20. By doing as much harm as possible now, next month they can claim that the Trump administration has made things better.
Today I called on the Small Business Administration (SBA) to swiftly issue a disaster determination for the #FranklinFire, ensuring timely relief for residents, small businesses, and communities impacted by the devastating blaze.

Honored to be with President #Biden at his last White House #Hanukkah party.
2 years ago, President Biden signed the #RespectforMarriageAct to ensure critical protections for same-sex and interracial couples under federal law.
As a Member of the @equalitycaucus.bsky.social, I'm proud to have worked to pass this transformative bill out of the House and seen it become law.
The Popular Resistance Committees (PRC) coordinated with #Hamas to carry out the #October7th massacre. They still hold innocent civilians hostage & have a decades-long history of killing Americans.
Sanctioning the PRC is long overdue. Yesterday, I urged Secretary #Blinken to take that step. Watch ⬇️
President Biden had two choices in #Afghanistan:
1. End a forever war
2. Put more of our troops at risk to fight a revitalized Taliban that gained 5,000 fighters released by Trump
The American people wanted an end to war in Afghanistan, and that's what President Biden delivered.
My wife Lisa and I greatly enjoyed a wonderful evening at the White House Congressional Holiday party!
Grateful to President #Biden, Vice President #Harris, and First Lady Dr. Jill Biden for hosting such a festive celebration to help kick off the holiday season.
