Trump is putting America's health system at risk.
Haphazardly closing these offices will delay, undermine, and eliminate critical services such as protecting seniors' safety at nursing homes, investigating fraud and waste, ensuring the safety of child care programs, and addressing public health and mental health crises.
Yesterday, the Trump Administration eliminated half of all Health and Human Services Regional Offices -- including the HHS regional office in downtown Seattle. That office served Washington, Oregon, Idaho, and Alaska.
Today is World Autism Awareness Day, where we must share acceptance for those with autism and their loves ones supporting them.
Families that live paycheck to paycheck may be left in the lurch by Trump's recklessness to find another source of quality, reliable child care. www.seattletimes.com/education-la...

The Trump Admin is not responsive and it's not honoring Congress' role in oversight in the way that previous administrations, Republican and Democratic, have done.

Came across this excellent quote from @chrismurphyct.bsky.social in the latest @newyorker.com. Completely agree with him.
I joined @kuow.org today to discuss how Trump is destroying our economy and weakening our nation. His Administration is defying laws, defying the constitution, and defying court orders. Trump's reckless policies are devastating our country. youtube.com/shorts/kotbw...
