If the President wants to reduce the budget deficit, come to Congress with your proposal and put it up for a vote. That's how our constitutional democracy works.
But the President cannot unilaterally make cuts to programs he doesn't like.

Americans have seen a horrifying increase in aviation accidents. The FAA must immediately implement the bipartisan safety reforms we passed last year. Our bill increased runway safety measures, required modern technology upgrades & accelerated the hiring of air traffic controllers.
