It was great to visit teachers at the Gerald Ford Academic Center and help them set up their classrooms before the start of a new school year.
Our educators are facing tons of instability after Trump gutted the Department of Education, but Gov. Whitmer, Michigan Senate Majority Leader Brinks, and I are rock steady in our support for Michigan’s teachers and public schools.
