Hateful.
Pure and simple.
While the President decided to play gross politics with the air disaster, DCA opened right up again with no changes in protocol.
I have moved all of my to/from trips from DCA to IAD until someone assures me the airspace has been made safer around Reagan.
The Senator is right on here.
2/2 Before we conjecture theories, I hope we all take the time to remember the people on board the American Airlines flight, as well as the heroes aboard the Army helicopter and first responders on the ground and on the water.
🇺🇸 ✈️ 🙏
1/2 My heart breaks for the families who lost loved ones last night. As someone who follows the aviation industry, as well as my nearly-weekly flights through DCA, I understand the complexities of the airspace and the lack of room for error.
This morning, facebook started serving me all kinds of right wing stuff in my feed. When I went to manage content preferences, I see they automatically made me follow Trump yesterday. Am I the only one?
Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. taught us that when we come together with a common purpose of equality, we build a better nation. His work changed us for the better and should inspire everyone to work so his dream becomes reality.
Have you noticed that it’s getting brighter each day? For northwestern Illinois today, we’ll have 16 minutes more daylight today than we did back in December!
A disaster is unfolding in Southern California.
There is no “Fire Season” anymore as the climate changed enough to cause a threat all year.
Send a prayer for those in danger and the brave first responders doing their duty.

The fine details of that crash are haunting.
On this snowy night in the nation’s capital, I am remembering Air Florida Flight 90.
Between terminals 1 and 2 at Reagan Nat’l Airport lies the official remembrance memorial to those who died in the plane crash on January 13, 1982.
74 people aboard the plane died. 4 people on the bridge died.

In the 119th Congress, it’s my hope that more Americans get to know the lesser-known members who work hard to find compromise and solutions, rather than the loud mouths who bluster, claw, and scratch on social and cable “news.”
Waking up to awful news in New Orleans. Many people killed and dozens injured after a person drove a truck onto Bourbon Street at the height of New Years celebrations.

Appears the Senate may have put it in the bill they passed.
We will fight for that. But this gives us the ability to fight another day, versus shutting down the government with millions of people in the lurch.
I’m not sure what these guys were saying, but A+ for the flashy fashion choices.
Happiness is saving a dog and getting to feel this.
If Daylight Saving Time was canceled, the sun would rise at 4 in the morning in the Summer.
Don’t get me wrong, I’m a morning person, but those late evenings with family and friends in the Summer are the best!
I say: Leave things alone and focus on making life more affordable.
