The reason it feels like your paycheck isn't going as far is because it isn't.
Since Trump took office:
> Airfare +27%
> Gas +43%
> Fuel Oil +59%
> Produce +6%
> Meat +7%
You’re footing his bill.
On LGBTQIA+ Equal Pay Day, we recognize the fight for equal pay is far from over. Everyone — regardless of sexual orientation and gender identity — deserves fair compensation for their work.
I’m committed to advancing policies that make that a reality.
We should be supporting families so they can get ahead, not ripping food from the dinner table.
Trump and Republicans are destroying our nation’s most effective food assistance programs. Millions will go hungry as a result.

Donald Trump is spending more than $300 million in taxpayer dollars on his luxury ballroom.
He said Americans wouldn't pay "one dime." He's a LIAR.

Families should not have to think twice about turning on the AC to beat the summer heat to save on their energy bills.
Trump needs to fix his manufactured affordability crisis and deliver immediate relief.
President Trump and Republicans are OBSESSED with women’s bodies.
The Trump Administration wants to limit access to birth control. But this healthcare is a choice between a woman and her provider — not Republicans.
As Muharram begins, I am wishing all those observing across #OR06 a blessed Islamic New Year!
Happy Pride, #OR06 🏳️🌈
What an amazing day in #Wilsonville to join Poison Waters, our LGBTQI+ community, and allies to celebrate Pride!
Together, we are building a more welcoming and inclusive nation for everyone to lead their lives free from fear 🫶
Our first responders should not have to think twice when lives are on the line. Yet some departments are being forced to reconsider deploying their largest fire trucks — not because they are not needed, but because of the cost of gas.
On the 14th anniversary of DACA, we celebrate Dreamers and renew the fight for their future.
Dreamers are our neighbors, students, and leaders. They deserve certainty, dignity, and a pathway to citizenship.
I will keep fighting each and every day for our Dreamers.

6 years ago, the Supreme Court, in #Bostock, affirmed employees are protected from sexual orientation and gender identity discrimination.
As Trump continues to undermine the enforcement of LGBTQI+ peoples' rights—including by sabotaging the EEOC—our members are fighting back.

Meet the OG Dreamer. Chair @repespaillat.bsky.social. Nine-year-old Adriano Espaillat arrived in Washington Heights from the Dominican Republic. When his family’s visa expired, he experienced firsthand the uncertainty of living undocumented.
Some stories remind us what’s possible.
Everyone deserves access to affordable, quality healthcare. Period.
I will not stop working until we can make this a reality for everyone.

What's the point of a bigger paycheck if it disappears at the gas pump?
Trump's policies have driven gas prices so high they've wiped out more than a year of wage growth.
This Men’s Health Month, know that it’s ok to ask for help.
Together, we can end the stigma by sharing lived experiences and education and by providing support for men and boys at every stage of life. #MentalHealthMonday
Today we honor the Stars and Stripes, a symbol of our nation's enduring and shared values since 1777. We look to those values to guide as we work towards a more perfect union. Happy Flag Day! 🇺🇸

10 years ago today, 49 lives were stolen in an act of senseless violence at #Pulse Nightclub.
As we remember the victims, many of whom were LGBTQI+ and Latine, we must all recommit to ending the epidemic of extremist violence so that all people may be free to live without fear.
