Republicans claim to “support the troops” while deporting veterans who risked everything.
As an Appropriator, I repeatedly offered amendments to guarantee due process for veterans. Republicans blocked them every time.

My office has documented the systematic terrorizing of families in my district. We have seen agents ignore federal court orders and violate basic due process. Secretary Mullin is not being installed to fix these failures. He is being installed to accelerate them.

Heartbroken by the tragic incident at LaGuardia that claimed the lives of two pilots. My thoughts are with their loved ones and all those affected.
As the investigation continues, we must get answers and ensure accountability. Aviation safety is not optional. It is a responsibility.
