Reports of increased ICE activity near Ontario schools are causing fear in our communities. Families are notifying the school district that they plan to pull their children out of class for the rest of the year because they are afraid.

It is always great to visit Chaffey College’s InTech Center and see workforce training in action!
InTech is doing important work to bridge the gap between classroom learning and real-world opportunities, preparing students for good-paying jobs right here in the Inland Empire!
Early voting is open in LA, Riverside, and San Bernardino counties. 🗳️
Election Day is November 3, but you don’t have to wait. Some vote centers are already open, and more open October 31. Swipe through for dates, and check your county’s locator for hours, which vary by site.
Trump and Republicans keep making life more expensive for working families. Gas prices are too high, and families are paying the price for their failed leadership. Californians deserve relief, not more excuses.
Today, I visited Phenix Truck Bodies & Van Equipment in Pomona to see how their team builds custom work trucks for municipalities, utilities, fire departments, and the federal government. Thank you to the team for welcoming me and showing me the work they do!
I introduced the Streamlining Affordable Housing Act to cut red tape, lower costs, and build affordable homes faster.
My bill would help states simplify the process so more families in the Inland Empire and across the country can afford a place to call home.
Working families in the IE are paying the price for Donald Trump and House Republicans’ failed economic policies. While Wall Street profits, Americans face surging costs at the pump and grocery store. We need lower costs and policies that put working people first.
Claremont High students aren’t waiting around to demand safety and justice, they’re leading the way. I was proud to join their walkout as they raised their voices for survivors, pushed back against silence, and reminded everyone that no means no.

I toured the women’s facilities, where women reported sewage backing up while meals were served. Now that this facility is federally owned, taxpayers deserve answers. Hardworking people with no prior violations are being taken from job sites and treated like criminals.
My heart is with the Eastvale community and the families affected by this horrific shooting. I’m keeping the victims and their loved ones in my thoughts as our community grieves.
Today is the LAST DAY to register to vote! Make sure your registration is up to date so you’re ready to make your voice heard.
Check your status or register online now at registertovote.ca.gov. Don’t wait until it’s too late! 🗳️🇺🇸
I introduced bipartisan legislation with Rep. Chuck Fleischmann to connect more workers with advanced manufacturing careers and keep America competitive. We need to make sure American workers have the skills and training to compete for good-paying jobs.
Today, my district office received a suspicious package similar to those sent to other congressional offices across the country. I thank the Ontario Police and Fire Departments for their swift response. Political violence has no place in this country, and those responsible must be held accountable.
We’re heading to Adelanto to demand answers. Families are sounding the alarm, serious questions remain about the treatment of people in ICE detention, and taxpayers are footing the bill. People deserve to know what is happening, where their money is going, and who is being held accountable.
I pushed for $25M in federal funding to complete the 71 Freeway improvements in Pomona, and we got it done. Kudos to the Mayor and City Council for their work to move this project forward. This investment will improve safety and reduce congestion for Inland Empire commuters.
WIC supports 7 million mothers, infants, and young children. Yet more than 4 in 10 eligible families miss out. My Improving Access to WIC Act cuts red tape, simplifies enrollment, and helps more families get the nutrition they need.
Excited to celebrate the groundbreaking of Pomona College’s new Center for Global Engagement! The Center will house 200 students and create new opportunities for global learning, cultural exchange, and community engagement. Congratulations to Pomona College on this exciting milestone!
This Breast Cancer Awareness Day, we honor the lives lost, celebrate the survivors, and stand strong with everyone continuing their fight.
No one should go through this journey without the care and support they deserve. I am committed to expanding resources for patients and survivors from day one.
Racist conspiracy theories have no place in federal law enforcement, and they should never be used to justify targeting a sitting Member of Congress. This administration’s abuse of power to try and settle scores raises serious concerns about the weaponization of federal law enforcement.
