Shri Thanedar

Shri Thanedar is an American businessman, author, and politician serving as the U.S. representative from Michigan's 13th congressional district since 2023. A member of the Democratic Party, Thanedar served as a member of the Michigan House of Representatives from 2021 to 2023. He was also a candidate in the Democratic primary for Governor of Michigan in the 2018 election.

Today is the 15 year anniversary of the Affordable Care Act. 15 years later, I am fighting alongside my Democratic colleagues in Congress to protect healthcare access. We cannot allow Republicans to take away our healthcare.
Many of my constituents rely on their Social Security checks to get by. Any disruption to Social Security will harm millions across our nation and many in Michigan. This rhetoric is just plain wrong.
