Trump's foreign policy is about one thing: enriching his family & uber rich friends. Look closely & you'll find someone cashing in. In Venezuela, it was hedge fund owners and oil interests. With Greenland, it’s billionaires like Trump-donor Ron Lauder, pushing this land grab.
This is deranged. Trump is threatening to deploy our military, blow up the NATO alliance, & spend billions all because he didn't win a prize. This man has control of our nuclear arsenal. At what point will Republicans join us to stop him from putting our nation in harm's way?
This is pure, unabashed bigotry. If a politician said this about any other faith, they would rightfully be run out of their party. But this kind of despicable anti-Muslim rhetoric is so normalized that a sitting Senator uses it without consequence. A stain on our Congress.
Dr. King repeatedly reminded us that the inaction of good people was the greatest threat to the pursuit of justice. Today, in the face of a lawless and tyrannical president, inaction isn't an option. We must continue to stand up, speak up, & fight back.
Arlit Maria Martinez is a mother of 4. Her son, Kevin, died of cancer while she was in ICE custody. ICE refused her request to be at Kevin's side in his final moments. They must let her attend Kevin’s memorial. Arlit, I hope you hear how many patriots stand with you.
Trump’s foreign policy is all about enriching his family & rich friends. It was his billionaire donor Ron Lauder, who has investments in Greenland, who told him to buy it. Now Trump risks the NATO alliance & war with Europe to pad his friend’s pockets. We can’t let that happen.
Opening fraudulent investigations into Governor Walz & Mayor Frey is a textbook example of prosecutorial misconduct. Judges must start imposing sanctions and holding lawyers accountable. To every federal official participating in these shams: one day you will be held accountable.
Instead of investigating the death of Renee Good, Trump wants to investigate Governor Walz & Mayor Frey. Despicable. This is a clear weaponization of justice against Trump's political rivals & a desperate attempt to distract from ICE's growing brutality & Trump's lawlessness.

In May, I told Rubio that locking up students for exercising their free speech rights was outrageous & unlawful. He scoffed. Now, a judge has said he & others engaged in an “unconstitutional conspiracy” to take away those rights. We must defend our freedoms at every turn.
I guess imitation is the greatest form of flattery. You shouldn't be paying the energy costs for big data centers. The way to be CERTAIN of that is to pass my Power for the People Act, to make corporations pay their own bills. If he's serious, Trump should help us get it done!
As data centers pop up around the country, Americans are subsidizing their costs in their energy bills. That's not right. Today, I introduced the Power for the People Act to ensure that the huge corporations building & running these data centers pay the tab, not you.
Just met w/ senior officials from Denmark & Greenland. When Trump says we need Greenland for security, remember: they already allow US & NATO bases there & don’t oppose additional measures. This is a land grab by Trump. Don't be shocked if he tries to rename it Trump-land.
Just a reminder, for those of you who thought Republicans might’ve grown a spine: Yesterday, after posturing & hand wringing, they had the chance to put an end to Trump's illegal military operations in Venezuela. They voted no. Their cowardice only further emboldens Trump.
