I had the chance to attend the Fredericksburg Market Square Juneteenth Celebration last Thursday.
Thank you for inviting me to participate in such a vibrant celebration of culture and community.

Speaker Johnson is blocking the memorial to the officers who defended our democracy on January 6, including those from the Prince William County Police Department.
I hung a replica outside my office — but the real one belongs on the wall in the U.S. Capitol that they protected that day.
Last week, I was glad to have the opportunity to present a letter recognizing Eunice Haigler for 10 years of planning the Fredericksburg Market Square Juneteenth Celebration. What an incredible achievement!
On Thursday, I celebrated Juneteenth in Prince William County at the Juneteenth and Me festival.
I enjoyed the opportunity to honor the strength and contributions of Black Americans — and to recommit to building a more just and equitable future for all.
The American people do not want another war in the Middle East.
But Trump made the decision to bomb Iran without first coming to Congress or making the case to the American people.
Our service members deserve leaders who understand the weight of war.
I teamed up with Rep. Thompson on a bipartisan bill to modernize WIC and make sure that moms and babies impacted by addiction get the care they need to stay healthy.
I'm proud that this commonsense effort has earned the support of leading organizations across the country.
Because the government should not have a voice in Americans' private health care decisions.
Today marks three years since SCOTUS overturned Roe v. Wade. Since then, extreme Republicans have been on a crusade to strip women of their reproductive rights.
As a member of the @reprocaucus.bsky.social, I will keep working to defend the freedoms of women in Virginia and across the country.
I’ve seen firsthand the cost of impulsive decisions and lies in the Iraq war. I refuse to sit back and let history repeat itself.
Today, I joined my fellow veterans in the U.S. House in telling President Trump — we must not repeat the same mistakes.
I'm leading a bipartisan bill with Rep. Kiggans that would require all 161 Pentagon-run schools to prohibit students from using phones in the classroom.
Because DODEA schools can — and should — be leaders in restoring in-class focus and reducing screen time during school hours.
Serving Virginia’s Seventh District in the U.S. House is an immense honor and privilege.

The Caroline County Agriculture Fair shines a spotlight on the hardworking producers who keep Virginia’s agricultural heritage strong.
On Friday, I enjoyed joining Sheriff Moser to preview the fair and hear firsthand about the opportunities and challenges facing VA-07 farmers.
The President ignored his obligation under the constitution, to the American people to reach consensus; he is solely responsible for all the consequences.
He owes Americans a legal justification for his actions.
The President’s decision will have far-reaching consequences.
Nobody wants a nuclear Iran — a muzzled Iran would be a great boon to the region and the world — but the American people also do not want more wars in the Middle East.
I hope that all of our service members in the region are safe and succeeded with their mission.
And so the United States goes to war with Iran without so much as a by your leave to the American people.
No statement, other than on social media; no notice to Congress; no serious deliberation.
This is the stuff of autocrats. Disgraceful.
Thank you to Valor Ranch for welcoming my team to tour your facility and learn more about your work providing recreational therapy for veterans who have sustained injuries in service to our country.
As a veteran and the only Virginian on the Ag Committee, this mission is deeply personal to me.
Thank you to Rails to Trails Conservancy and Warrior Expeditions for the incredible work you do supporting our veterans and connecting communities across the country.
It was an honor to celebrate the kick-off of the Warrior Bike Ride along the Great American Rail-Trail last month! I’m especially proud that one of my constituents — Frank Nicholson is from Stafford — is making the journey this year.
I’d like to thank Future Defense USA for providing me with a demo of the “Barracuda” and its capabilities this morning — and for letting me take it for a spin!
I’m glad you’ve made Prince William your home.
