I was honored to participate in the Quantico National Cemetery Memorial Day Wreath Laying Ceremony.
Today, may we recommit ourselves to the values our fallen service members gave their lives to defend.

Today, I led a solemn Memorial Day wreath-laying ceremony at Arlington National Cemetery to honor America’s fallen service members.
Standing in Arlington among the tombstones of heroes, I’m reminded of the deep responsibility we bear to protect the values they died to defend.
I joined my colleagues in celebrating Asian American, Native Hawaiian & Pacific Islander Heritage Month!
This month and always, I'm committed to honoring the rich histories and contributions of Virginia's AANHPI community.
It was great to share dumplings with @pelosi.house.gov!
I'd call this Administration a circus, but that would be an insult to clowns.
This bill is a disaster. Kids will go hungry. People will die. And the rich will get richer. I will keep fighting for a country that takes care of its people, not one that sells them out in the dead of night.
And while Trump says he supports law enforcement, this bill tells the hard truth: over $1 billion cut from DOJ law enforcement efforts and more than $500 million slashed from the FBI — a blow to those working to keep our communities safe.
Luka’s parents work full-time and have private insurance — but they rely on Medicaid for his 18 lifesaving medications. Without it, his family faces insurmountable health care costs, and he may not survive.
If that wasn’t enough cruelty, cutting Medicaid will rip health care away from nearly 14 million Americans, including kids like my constituent Luka.
Let’s be clear: cutting SNAP means empty lunchboxes and dinner tables across America. It means taking food from over 18 million kids to bankroll tax breaks for billionaires like Elon Musk.
With Trump’s tariffs already driving up food prices, Rubber Stamp Republicans are now making it even harder for families to put meals on the table and get the care they need. This bill slashes SNAP and Medicaid, the programs my constituents depend on every day.
I cannot fathom how extreme Republicans can sleep soundly after rubber stamping the largest cuts to basic needs programs for healthcare and hunger in my lifetime.
Last night, a callous, dangerous, and partisan bill passed with solely Republican support — and they did it while Americans were asleep, hoping no one would notice. I am outraged and disgusted.
My heart goes out to the victims’ families and I thank law enforcement for their quick response.
Violence has no place in our communities.
Last night’s murders are a sad reminder of the threat antisemitism poses — no one should be targeted for their faith, ethnicity, or beliefs.
I condemn this in the strongest way possible.
It's been two months since Pete Hegseth was at the center of a major security breach — and he’s faced ZERO accountability.
Our national security isn’t a game to be played. Hegseth must go.
We’re not going down without a fight.
I would say good morning, but it is not one. I was up commuting at 5 AM to join @repdexteror.bsky.social and
@repjohnnyo.bsky.social for the Rules Committee to call attention to Republicans attempting to gut SNAP and Medicaid in the dead of night — all to give tax cuts to billionaires.
Cindy and I are deeply saddened to hear the news that Gerry has passed. Our deepest condolences go out to his family, friends, and staff.
May your memory be a blessing, my friend.
Abortion bans cost lives. I’m fighting for justice for Adriana Smith and for every woman denied care.
As a member of @reprocaucus.bsky.social, I won’t stop until reproductive freedom is a reality for all — no matter where you live.
Last week, I joined local leaders and Virginia LCV at Prince William Forest Park to call out Trump's environmental policies and federal budget cuts that damage both people and the planet.
