While Trump and RFK Jr. have been illegally cutting funding that Congress approved, Donald Trump’s nominee to be the top lawyer at the Department of Health and Human Services can barely agree that RFK Jr. can’t cancel a grant because he doesn’t like your face. This is bad.
The Supreme Court just greenlit Donald Trump gutting nearly $800 MILLION for medical treatments and cures. Congress approved this funding for a reason: it saves lives. This is disgraceful, and families will suffer.
CNN headline that reads: "Supreme Court allows Trump to block $783 million in National Institutes of Health grants for now"
Is Google considering settling a questionable lawsuit with Trump in exchange for favorable treatment? Even under Trump, bribery is illegal. I'm looking into this because Trump is not a king and corporations should not bow down to him.
Image with a CNBC headline that reads "Democrats ask Google whether talks with Trump over censorship suit include possible ‘quid-pro-quo’ deal"
BIG WIN: A court ordered the Trump Education Department to reinstate the civil rights workers they fired. I taught kids with disabilities––the kind of students helped by these workers. Every child deserves to be treated fairly. I’m staying in this fight for our kids.
An image of text that says 'Education Department plans to reinstate ousted civil rights workers'
Another day, another episode of "The Central Bank Apprentice" as President Trump tries to distract from his own failure to lower costs. The Fed needs reform. And it doesn't involve illegally firing independent Fed Board members.
Trump cut the IRS workforce by 25% in 4 months. That means when the ultra-rich and giant corporations cheat on their taxes—and trust me, many of them do—there are fewer people to stop them. Instead of lowering your costs, Trump is helping the wealthy evade paying their taxes.
A typical family of four may have to pay nearly $5,000 MORE per year on their student loans as a result of Trump's "Big Beautiful Bill." So much for Republicans lowering costs.
Trump’s “Big Beautiful Bill” will kick 15 million Americans off their health insurance. But don’t worry: at least Amazon will pocket an estimated $16 billion extra this year.
President Trump rolled out the red carpet for Putin. Now he’s rolling back his promise of consequences. If Trump wants to go beyond summits to a real negotiation that secures a just peace in Ukraine, he should increase pressure on Putin's war machine.
Elon Musk's SpaceX is worth over $350 BILLION – after receiving billions in government contracts – but could be paying LESS in taxes than you. Why? Because Trump and Republicans rigged the tax code with loopholes for billionaire corporations. No more corporate handouts.
It’s clear: Republicans believe government should be run by and for billionaires. Democrats believe government shouldn’t work just for the wealthy – but for everyone.
Practically speaking, how do we bring down housing costs? Last month, the Senate Banking Committee unanimously passed a bill that will use the power of the federal government to help communities across the country build more housing.
Now that Donald Trump’s “Big Beautiful Bill” is law, 51,000 more people will die preventable deaths each year. Republicans voted to let thousands of people die so they could give billionaires government handouts.
