Trump started an illegal war and all it achieved was American & civilian casualties and higher gas prices. We still don't have full access to the Strait of Hormuz. Iran still has nuclear material and bombs are still flying.  Americans have paid a terrible price for this war.
Trump is risking escalating his illegal Iran war irrevocably. To stop it the following must happen: - Speaker Johnson brings Congress back now - Immediate vote to end the war - Ceasefire with push for diplomacy - Cabinet stands up to Trump & doesn't let him commit war crimes
Trump’s words show that he’s beyond unfit to be President. He is dangerous and a risk to us all. Republicans in Congress — or frankly anyone with influence over this President — speak up! Your silence and complicity hurts us all. This madness needs to stop now.
Trump released his budget for 2027, and it’s bad. Really bad. Budgets are a statement of values, and Trump has made it crystal clear he doesn’t value YOU, your opportunities, or your rights. We will fight this at every step and make sure American values win.
This is what American ingenuity and innovation looks like! Congratulations to the crew of Artemis II who have now traveled deeper into space than any other humans. I will keep fighting on the Science, Space, and Technology Committee to fund NASA and American exploration for generations to come.
Proud to bring home $966,000 in federal funding to upgrade Bristol Police’s communications systems!🚓📻 This money will help the department handle everything from routine police calls to the upcoming semiquincentennial celebration at the nation's longest running 4th of July parade!
Show me your budget, and you’ll show me what you value. President Trump’s values are clear. He wants to spend $1.5 trillion on endless conflicts, like his war of choice in Iran, instead of priorities like the health care of the American people.
Volunteer Easter Bunnies from Community Angels and the Elisha Project were hard at work this week preparing holiday baskets for Rhode Island kids! 🐇Hoppy to help pass out these egg-cellent treats and spread some joy this Easter!🧺💐
Deeply moved by the opening of the African American Museum of Rhode Island. The history of progress, struggle & resilience of our Black community will live on because of this work. Kudos to the AAMRI team for preserving & sharing stories of African American Rhode Islanders.
Walked with The Milagros Project, the Boys and Girls Club of Northern RI, and the Woonsocket community honoring NyAsia Williams-Thomas and all Rhode Islanders taken by violence. We can and must do more to stop the scourge of gun violence in our communities.
Good riddance. But this exit doesn’t mean Pam Bondi gets to escape accountability for covering up the Epstein files, politicizing our justice system, and weaponizing the Justice Department to carry out Trump’s personal vengeance & corruption. #PamBondi
BREAKING: President Trump has fired Attorney General Pam Bondi, a senior administration official and a source familiar with the matter tell NBC News. nbcnews.to/4vpZwq3
Trump’s message on Iran is a month late and billions of dollars short. The American people are paying higher prices for gas, heating oil, and groceries because of Trump’s illegal war of choice. It’s time to end this.
Trump doesn't want YOU to vote. Joined Women’s Fund RI, Common Cause RI, and RI Secretary of State Amore to call out the so-called SAVE America Act which makes it harder for married women, seniors & military families to vote. Proud to stand with so many Rhode Islanders fighting for our rights!
🚓🚨Celebrated brand new vehicles and equipment for the Pawtucket Police Department! Thank you to @whitehouse.senate.gov for securing this funding to enhance patrol capabilities and improve safety for officers and Pawtucket residents.
This Transgender Day of Visibility, know you are seen and loved no matter how you identify.🏳️‍⚧️ As a member of @equality.house.gov, I will keep fighting to stop the rollback of LGBTQ+ rights and ensure transgender Americans can live in peace, safety, and security.
The new Central Falls High School is officially complete!✅📚 This modern, inspiring space will help expand opportunities for every student who walks through these doors. Glad to see this long-awaited dream turn into a place where students will thrive. #GoWarriors!
