Trump, DOGE and Elon (remember him?) spent a year wreaking havoc and trying to destroy Social Security. Now offices across the country are closing and customer service is a nightmare.
We should be providing relief to farmers and consumers, not making things worse.
Because of Trump’s Big Ugly Law, 4 million people have already lost SNAP food assistance. And because of Trump’s tariffs, costs are up for farmers and at the grocery store.
Republicans just sent us a Farm Bill that cements both bad policies – that’s why I voted NO.
Republicans in the South aren't even trying to hide it anymore. They're scrambling to draw new districts and even delay elections - all because the Supreme Court gave them a free pass to silence Black voters.

Northeast Ohio gas prices jumped again overnight – stations are now nearing $5.00 per gallon.
Trump had no idea what he was doing when he launched a new war in the Middle East and has no plan to get out.
And the American people are paying the price.

I just voted NO on reauthorizing the FISA Section 702 program.
There is no way the Trump Administration should have unchecked power to spy on Americans.
The Senate must reject this dangerous bill.
SCOTUS just gave states a free pass to suppress the voting rights of people of color.
We’re about to witness exactly why the Voting Rights Act was needed in the first place.
Congress must pass the John Lewis Voting Rights Advancement Act to defend our right to vote & our right to representation.
The Trump Admin is seeking to mass deport thousands of Haitians, including 45,000 people in Ohio. Today, the Supreme Court heard arguments on Trump’s plan – which I voted to stop.
Denying Haitians asylum from violence would be another moral failure from this Supreme Court.
The Supreme Court’s ruling in Louisiana v. Callais erodes voting rights and shamefully turns back the clock.
My full statement:
Get this man’s face off of passports. Trump’s ego is out of control.
Every federal building, every monument, and every document for OUR country is not space for him to brand like this is a tacky hotel.

No one should go hungry to pay for wars, mass deportation, and tax cuts for the rich.

This is exactly why I introduced legislation to reverse the Trump SNAP cuts and why I’m fighting GOP legislation this week to lock them for years to come.
Because of Trump’s Big Ugly Law, the number of people receiving food aid from SNAP in Cuyahoga County is at the lowest level in six years – while costs are going up at the grocery store.
ENOUGH.
Clevelanders are emptying their wallets at the gas pump while Trump focuses on ballrooms and parties.

The problem isn’t the name. The problem is Trump's ICE is terrorizing our communities, hiding behind masks, and acting like they are above the law.
Americans don't want a new name. We want the violence to end.

Better economy where? You mean the one where Americans paid $300 more on their groceries to compensate for Trump's tariffs?
Kicking 4.3 million Americans off of SNAP is not a flex, it's a failure. That's why I've authored legislation to reverse the Trump SNAP cuts.
Today I joined @budzinski.house.gov and colleagues in the @laborcaucus.house.gov in calling on REI to negotiate with union workers in Orange and nationwide on a fair collective bargaining agreement and to avoid any union-busting.
Ohio – Election Day is May 5 and Early Voting is underway. Beginning today, Early Voting hours are extended from 7:30 AM – 7:30 PM at the Cuyahoga County Board of Elections.

Trump and Elon spent a year trying to destroy Social Security -> now offices are closing.
Trump’s rich friends got tax cuts, Trump’s family got Pentagon contracts, and working people got higher prices and benefit cuts.
Absolutely shameful.
