This post from my colleague is racist, disgusting, and anti-American. She should truly be ashamed of herself.

The thing about Republicans’ baseless accusations is that there’s no reason for the SPLC to manufacture hate.
Donald Trump and his administration do that on their own.
Today, I’m mourning the loss of Barney Frank, a champion for working people, a force for Wall Street accountability, and a trailblazer for the LGBTQ+ community.
His courage paved the way for so many of us. May his memory be a blessing.
🚨 Due to changes in the House voting schedule, we need to move my telephone town hall back tonight!
Join us tonight - now at 6:30pm instead of 6:00pm - to make your voice heard on behalf of your community.
We must do all we can to keep this admin from continuing their horrific treatment of women, children, and families with our tax dollars.
They want us to lose our humanity — to believe that some are more worthy of basic dignity than others. We can't let that happen.
This afternoon, the @demwomencaucus.bsky.social heard from experts about the trauma being inflicted on women by ICE and CBP.
Denial of basic medical care, sexual assaults, violence against pregnant women – abuse being carried out with our tax dollars. It's sickening.
Trump just directed his cronies to make him, his family and his friends exempt from our nation’s tax laws.
Right now, Republicans are pushing a bill to give ICE and CBP another $70 BILLION after already giving them record funding just last year.
Folks can't afford housing, health care, or utilities. How come the GOP can't find any room in their budget for them?
Today, I led 15 of my colleagues in sending a letter to RFK Jr. calling out his dangerous and wrong attacks on critical psychiatric medications.
HHS should be focused on the systemic drivers of our nation’s mental health crisis, not spreading misinformation.
As of today, the Trump admin is FIVE MONTHS past its legally binding deadline to release the full Epstein files.
I’ll never stop fighting until these files are released, everyone involved is held accountable, and we get justice for the survivors – no matter how long it takes.
Let's be clear about what happened here: Trump went through this whole charade just so he could get a $1.8 billion, taxpayer-funded slush fund to dole out to his lawbreaking friends, potentially including January 6th insurrectionists.
Corruption plain and simple.
The president’s approval among young people looks like it’s cratering. This was a key part of his coalition in 2024, so it’s a big deal.
But we can’t take anything for granted. We need to offer solutions so young people know they have a brighter future ahead of them.
On this International Day Against Homophobia and Transphobia, we must remember that if you allow the rights of LGBTQ people to be violated, you’re opening the door for that to happen to you too.
Our demand for equality is not just our own.
Wanted to remind you about my telephone town hall coming up on Wednesday! See the info below to join me and your neighbors across the state to make your voice heard.
I’m encouraged that overdose deaths fell nationally for the third straight year.
As good as this news is, it just shows that we can’t take our foot off the gas. We need to provide these critical programs the resources they need – clearly it pays off.
Right now, we’re watching a systematic attack on the political power of Black voters across the South. It threatens to bring us back to a deeply shameful part of our past.
Today, I’m standing in solidarity with the National Day of Action and in support of fair representation for every American.
President Trump doesn’t know what it’s like to struggle in today’s economy. And, according to his own words, he doesn’t think about it one bit.
As we work to strengthen confidence in our elections and defend our democracy from Trump and his cronies, this sends exactly the wrong message. It is a dangerous and deeply misguided mistake that weakens accountability at a moment when our democracy needs it most. (2/2)
I’m furious at the decision to grant clemency to Tina Peters. She was convicted by a jury of her peers of illegally granting access to voting machines and allowing election data to be copied and shared on the internet to serve wild conspiracy theories. (1/2)
