Happy to sit down with the Home Builders Association of Greater Kansas City to talk about the 21st Century ROAD to Housing Act and the work I’m doing to ensure communities can build more affordable housing and lower costs for Missouri families.
During Gun Violence Awareness Month, we remember the lives taken by gun violence and recognize the families and communities forever changed by it. Proud to stand with @housedemocrats.bsky.social as we remain committed to advancing gun safety solutions that save lives and keep our communities safe.
The president may have doubled his net worth since returning to office—but American families are falling further and further behind because of his disastrous war and failed economic policies. They deserve so much better.
Inflation has overtaken wages for the first time in 3 years. That means Americans’ incomes are shrinking in real terms, largely because of the Iran war. My @morningjoe-msnow.bsky.social Chart.
“Prices have soared in particular on a lot of things Americans buy every day, including coffee, lettuce and more.” American families continue to pay the price for Republicans’ disastrous war in the Middle East. www.washingtonpost.com/business/202...
From the cost of the gasoline you need to fill up your tank to the groceries you need to feed your family, the president’s disastrous war in the Middle East and Republicans failed economic policies are making life harder for the American people. finance.yahoo.com/economy/arti...
As inflation surges due to the president’s disastrous war in the Middle East, wages are not keeping up with skyrocketing costs. It means hardworking families are falling further and further behind. They deserve better.
There isn’t a single dollar in the GOP budget bill to lower Americans’ cost of living, but Republicans are ready to give ICE a blank check worth $70B to keep brutalizing communities w/o guardrails or accountability. I will be voting NO on this dangerous abuse of taxpayer dollars. bit.ly/4vyjIVF
Trump wants Americans to believe we can’t afford childcare, Medicaid, or Medicare. But somehow there’s always money for tax breaks for billionaires, endless spending on war overseas, and funding an unaccountable ICE and Border Patrol.
We won’t balance the budget on the backs of those who feed America. Republicans’ latest Agriculture & FDA bill shows they refuse to focus on lowering the cost of living for farmers and rural communities.
When asked for evidence, he resorts to insults. When pressed for answers, he ends the interview. That’s not strength. It’s what happens when the facts aren’t on your side. The American people deserve better.
WOW - Trump crashes out & cuts his interview w/ Welker short as she presses him on his lack of evidence for claiming elections are rigged "You're either crooked or you're stupid. I've had enough. Thank you darling," he tells her" "I traveled all the way to Wisconsin for this interview," she pleads
And by strengthening our region’s talent pipeline and supporting local employers seeking highly skilled technicians, this investment will create pathways to economic mobility, bolster our workforce, and help keep the Kansas City region competitive in a rapidly changing economy.
After securing $850,000 in federal funding to support the project, I was honored to attend the ribbon-cutting for MCC Longview's newly revamped Automotive Institute! This new facility will help ensure students have access to the skills & training needed to succeed in good-paying, in-demand careers.
While hardworking Americans are being crushed by rising costs, Republicans in Congress are working to give ICE another $70 BILLION in taxpayer funding instead of fighting to make life more affordable for families. The American people deserve better.
BREAKING: The Senate passes a $70B immigration enforcement bill without limits on President Trump's settlement fund.
