It's unconscionable that Republicans on the Health Subcommittee are having a hearing on sunscreen as Trump & RFK Jr. gut HHS.
They should be ashamed that they're allowing Elon & DOGE to raid cancer research, drug safety, & pandemic preparedness.
Rome is burning, & we’re talking about sunscreen?
Trump, Elon, and RFK Jr. are firing those responsible for finding cures for cancer, Alzheimer’s, and diabetes while harming our pandemic preparedness & drug approval process.
Their cuts are going to make more Americans sick, devastate public health, and set biomedical research back a generation.
To all those celebrating Eid al-Fitr in Denver and across our country, Eid Mubarak!
Wishing a joyous, blessed holiday to those who celebrate.
On #TransDayOfVisibility, it's more important than ever to stand up to the extremism and fear-mongering of Donald Trump and his relentless attacks on the trans community.
Proud to join my @equality.house.gov in recognizing TDOV and protect EVERY person’s right to live openly & authentically.
While Donald Trump & Congressional Republicans try to dismantle Medicaid, I’m fighting to protect and expand it—because health care is a right, not a privilege. (2/2)
Thanks to everyone who joined my Medicaid Listening Session in Denver today.
Your stories make it clear: Medicaid is a lifeline we cannot afford to lose. (1/2)
Today I held an immigration roundtable with advocates and local leaders to discuss our efforts to protect vulnerable individuals from Trump’s unlawful attacks.
Colorado has long protected our migrant community, and we’ll continue taking action against Trump’s cruel, illegal attacks on migrants.
These cuts threaten access to lifesaving care, especially for our most vulnerable, and block progress on breakthrough research. They must be stopped as quickly as possible. (2/2)
I spoke with @cprnews.bsky.social about the Trump administration’s illegal health care cuts—side stepping Congress & putting Coloradoans' health at risk. (1/2)
Big banks are raking in billions off hardworking Americans & Senate Republicans just helped them do it. The CFPB's cap would’ve protected consumers from sky-high overdraft fees, but the GOP chose Wall Street over working families.
Raising costs on those already living paycheck-to-paycheck is cruel.

NEW: E&C Health Leaders Rep. Frank Pallone and @degette.house.gov call on House Republicans and Rep. Brett Guthrie to stop disastrous layoffs at HHS.
With ongoing measles and bird flu outbreaks, these HHS cuts will put more Americans at risk and Republicans know it.
Elon and DOGE are stealing $250 million from Colorado that supports mental health services, substance abuse recovery, and crisis resolution teams.
This is going to have significant consequences for the people of Colorado. That’s why I am fighting to stop DOGE from raiding Colorado.
DOGE’s HHS cuts will harm national biosecurity, stop cures for cancer, & leave Americans unable to access much-needed care. They're firing people who oversee cancer research & outbreak prevention while slashing 20% of the workforce. Sec. Kennedy & DOGE’s illegal attacks on public health must stop.
Over 1 million Coloradoans rely on Medicaid—their sensitive health care information must be protected from the illegal schemes of Elon Musk & DOGE.
My DOGE POUND Act would put an end to the Trump Admin's gross overstep of power & keep them from meddling in Americans’ health care and private data.
This is not about "efficiency.” It's about creating more red tape and bailing out Republicans who want to give billionaires, like Elon Musk, a huge tax cut.
76% of Americans want to keep or expand Medicaid because they know it helps pay for their health care. But Republicans are trying to make accessing essential care harder – even kicking current beneficiaries off their plan.
The level of incompetence shown by the Sec. of Defense & National Security Advisor is staggering. There must be accountability from the top down.
Pete Hegseth & Michael Waltz must resign, & there must be an investigation into whether DNI Director Gabbard & CIA Director Ratcliffe committed perjury.
Someone needs to lose their job over the staggering level of incompetence shown by senior officials of the Trump administration.
Whether it is Secretary Hegseth or National Security Advisor Waltz, there MUST be accountability.
Donald Trump and Elon Musk are gutting the Social Security Administration and causing chaos for the 1 in 6 Coloradans who rely on their Social Security benefits to pay the bills.
I am fighting to stop these cuts and protect Social Security.
